Tillerson cut short South Korea visit because of 'fatigue'.

I wonder how long he sticks around. Trump and his inner WH circle have basically rendered his job meaningless. I don't think this is what he had in mind.

Besides the hilarity and point behind the OP, this didn't settle well with me:

Tillerson warned in remarks Friday that the U.S. "policy of strategic patience" with North Korea is over, saying the Trump administration would not rule out military action.

"All options are on the table," Tillerson said.

Yea.

Our standing is going right down the tubes. After the wiretapping fiasco, we aren't going to be trusted anymore. We can't go at this alone. We need the cooperation of our allies.

As for Tillersion, his reputation along with Spicers is ruined for good. Sad, considering they spent most of their careers in government.

You all seem a bit more credulous than usual regarding the reason for cutting the visit short. Perhaps because it fits the popular narrative so well.

When on diplomatic visit, one does not simply turn down a dinner invite.
