i have held will smith in high regards for his pulp fiction performance all these years

and today i learned that it was actually samuel l jackson this whole time!

will smith just got knocked down SEVERAL pegs in my book

Locked to spare the OP further richly deserved embarrassment.

If you go back and watch that call on the Oscars that year (Best supporting actor), you will notice Sam Jackson mouthing/yelling "FUCK!" when his name isn't called. It's hilarious.

Surely the OP is kidding?

Sam Jackson is the only part of that movie I actually liked. And he did win a BAFTA for his role. Although if you really want to see him steal a movie, rent "The Long Kiss Goodnight". Geena Davis is hot and turns in a great performance, but Jackson absolutely stole that movie.

love that movie, took all the spy movie cliches and twisted/made them a little 'dirty'

i am not buying that you confused slj for will smith. one is a huge mountain of a man and the other is a child. one has a baritone voice and the other a squeek. you couldn't mix them up if you were blind.

I don't buy that a guy with Wiz Khalifa as his avatar would confuse Samuel L Jackson with Will Smith.

Not unless he also thinks his avatar is Busta Rhymes :D Or maybe it's face blindness... :hmm:
