It would have been interesting to see the IS-3 in battle, but the world was introduced to the huge Russian tank during the Russian victory parade, and was quite an eye opener for the Western powers due to its advancements.

What an imagination those silly Germans had. Something that large would have been decimated by air power if it didnt get stuck in the mud first and abandoned and destroyed by its crew.

I love the picture of the shell next to the T-34.
It still wouldn't actually penetrate the armor.....but the kinetic energy would collapse the tank, for sure.
