She was a model with earning potential of perhaps low 6 figures if she were lucky over many years. She walked into a marriage where she was effectively being paid to stay with tiger in prenup more than she could ever earn in a lifetime. She could have walked away with dignity, but she showed herself to be a greedy whore. These women know what they are getting into, the deal they are making. She should have walked away long ago if she really felt betrayed, but greed kept her around. her behavior is one of a gold digger, she stuck around lured by the dangling of a juicier prenup, and now she goes for more.
 
And good for her, after being subjected to the kind of public and private betrayal that she was. Of course she is going to be out for everything she can. WTF?

Its like saying, "If I were hit and injured by a Fortune 500 CEO who was driving drunk, I wouldn't sue his ass off out of the goodness of my heart, because I'm not like that. I'd just accept a small settlement, enough to fix my car and pay the medical bills, but nothing more."

but this has nothing to do with being cheated on, this has to do with the same retarded tale of the man making all the money but getting raped in a divorce for everything he has. Most of the states where the man gets raped in a divorce are no-fault states so him cheating on her has nothing to do with who gets what in the divorce. I wonder if they even got married in a no-fault state?

First, how can you ignore what he did? The only way she can punish him for that is to put a financial amount on it.

Without what she brought him (family man persona) do you think he would have made nearly as much as he did? He'd still be filthy rich, but you're crazy if you think he would have made nearly as much from white suburban America if they'd known he was sticking his dick in every hole he could while his wife was busy raising their kids. So, sure, she might not have been bringing in the money herself, but you're just being delusional if you think she didn't help him bring in plenty. Then there's the whole betrayal part, which should be worth plenty.

For the people that are so mad about divorce situations, I can understand to a point, if it was just you end up not getting along and then lose everything, but this is certainly not comparable to those cases at all. In fact, cases like this are exactly why things are the way they are.

Tiger did mess up. No one argues that. But she is not entitled to be compensated for what he has worked for his entire life. All that he has he earned and worked for his entire life she is not entitled to. Now he does owe her something for her sacrafices, but to ask for compensation that he has amassed through a lifetime of work is greedy. I said earlier, I would pay her only what was in the prenup and not a dime more. If he does try to buy her silence he's a fool. Just because he was a gigolo doesn't mean he should be punished by giving her everything he worked for.

Try to get this through your head, he doesn't HAVE to give her anything beyond the prenup. Anything more than that will be him buying her silence. She apparently has enough information on some other scuzzy or illegal things he has done and he's afraid of that information being made public. So he will be WILLING to pay voluntarily to keep some things private. HIS CHOICE.

essentially she's attempting to blackmail him, so either she's a gold digger or a morally bankrupt person willing to slag off her former spouse for cash. "if you don't pay i'm going to smear you" isn't a default position.

EVERY person in America has the right to tell the truth to the press. If Tiger wants her to willingly cede her legal right to sell a book about her life, he can CHOOSE to compensate her. Sure, you can even smear them before you leave them if you wished. That doesn't give you the high ground, in fact it makes you lower than than even tiger, which is the issue at hand. People with dignity dont air their personal laundry in public. end of story. Tiger didn't announce his personal problems, he got caught. There is a difference. If tiger came out and smeared his wife when he was first caught whoring claiming she was sh*t in bed you'd have an argument, but he didn't ever want it to be public.

Blackmail? She's the one who has been absolutely humiliated by him. I don't see any problem with her trying to exact a little revenge by taking Tiger for everything she can get from him -- it's not like he banged one chick once, this guy had an on-call harem and made a complete farce out of their marriage in the national and international spotlight.
