He made twice if not 3 times as much thanks to the image as a family man. On average, family men with good images make a shitload more money in endorsement deals than douchebags. Elin was a very important part of that image. She deserves 1/2 to 2/3 of his money. Do you guys understand that given the ages of his children this man was in all likelihood having unprotected sex with countless women while still sleeping with his wife ? We have no way of knowing if he gave Elin any sort of STD, including HIV, nor do we know if anything was transmitted to his children via prenatal exposure.I'd imagine that just having to submit to serial HIV testing as well as having the kids tested would really fuel a very bitter divorce.

Judging from a lot of what I've seen I'd also say that Elin was the real deal, she lived quietly, a devoted mother. I never saw big spreads in any of the fashion rags about how Elin lavished herself with designer couture, no pics of her in Paris or NYC for the big shows, no scandalous pics in night clubs. From everything I can see she was a clean living, devoted Golfer's wife, she helped him with image IMHO.

Well if she were there she'd get a little publicity, but so do the wives/gf of football/tennis players, but it doesn't really add to their marketability unless the wife is a star herself. elin is a has been model, so she really added little star power to his career. nike has a stronger association to tiger than his wife by a long shot.

No doubt Elin was a great wife. However, from what I've read she knew Tiger was a reputed lothario when she met him. Any woman who imagines she can change a man's habits is thinking wishfully; particularly a man who also happens to be the best golfer in the world.

Maybe the question to ask is how much Elin added to Tiger's earnings. Would Tiger not have made a billion or two without Elin? Does she deserve a $100 million along with finanacial arrangements for the children. Sure. Does she deserve $750 million? No a chance.

How close that number is may indicate how quickly he wants to move forward and what/if any dirt she may have on him still in the closet or what comes out in the media.
