I'm in Los Angeles. I usually buy stuff from newegg. I was somewhat upset when they switched from FedEx to UPS. Recently I bought a few items and was playing around in shipping and handling section, when I saw a note saying that UPS ground could be delievered to my area in 1 day. I was somewhat sceptical about it, since I hear a lot of bad rep about UPS, but imaging my surprise when my stuff got delievered NEXT day by 7pm. WOW !!!

I have dealt with newegg and zipzoomfly. I like newegg a LOT better than zipzoomfly mainly because I have made ~20 orders from Newegg - none of which have been bad, and my one time I switched to zipzoomfly to get a hard drive, it was broken when it got here. it came in an OPEN antistatic bad inside 2 halves of a fitted foam block and the box was ONLY 1\2 full of Styrofoam. Needless to say when I installed it loud knocking noises were emitted and I had to return it for a brand new drive, which was packaged correctly. Since then I haven't bought anything from zipzoomfly. I do know other people who haven?t had a problem ordering from them and we use them to order computer parts here at work so maybe I was just the target of a random error.

i always went with newegg because of the bad tiger rep.

but just bougt a mobo and video card from tiger, because there prices were the same, and tiger ships from il, and i'm in wi.

nothing with rebates from them

but with ground shipping i got both my orders the next day.

very nice in my book.

your in ca, so i don't know if there local. but i think i might order more from tiger now, as long as the price is right.
