You're absolutely right, people do need information from other sources and perspectives. But think again of the WBC: For every inane stunt they pull, there's 15-20 articles ridiculing them about it - anybody can Google up the WBC and figure out in short order they're completely insane and don't represent the majority of religion.Oh? And how does everybody know what sort of shit-show they are? Does that just magically happen, or do people need information from other perspective?
But every time some alt-pronoun idiot claims they were harassed by a racist bigot at a college because a professor called the person a male pronoun instead of whatever it was they preferred to be called, do you see any of the saner people from your movement going out of their way to distance themselves from that sort of behavior?
