I remember in the 80's and 90's when companies were all switching to computerized transactions, they'd market the idea that it would save them money and therefore the saving would be passed onto you. Now, years later, the saving are not passed onto you. In fact, they're charging you for the added "convenience" of using a system which saves them money.

Remember, ATMs save the bank money by not having to hire more tellers :moon:
 
why are you buying online, stupidest thing you could have ever done!!!

I always go to my local ticketmaster ... its only an extra 1.50$ per ticket then.
 
Ohh, and I got tickets for me and my GF to see John Mayer in Raleigh on July 31. Took me 10 mins to drive to the ticket office. Paid $56 a piece for them.

Going through Ticket Bastard, the price is:

Ticket Price: $50.00 x 2
Convenience Charge: $8.95 x 2
Building Facility Charge: $6.00 x 2
TicketFast: $2.50
Order Processing: $4.85

Total Charges: $137.25
