Anyone stupid enough to pay Ticketmasters fees deserves what he gets.

I'm surprised because it seems more ridiculous than the last time i bought tickets.

Ticketmaster was one of the firsts of the evil empires.
There used to be a time when you could only buy tickets at ticketmaster locations and the actual venue, most were in Hudson's and Harmony Houses (Detroit). The total locations at the time couldn't have amounted to more than maybe 50. You're the first person in line and have been standing in 15F weather for 3 hours. The chick behind counter says to you that the entire lower bowl of Cobo Hall (12,000 seats) have already sold out. WTF!! Of course, all the scalpers that paid off the ticketmaster tellers got them.

So you are saying that the convenience charge was cheaper (to you) than the inconvenience of traveling two hours away to pick them up? Sounds like you are saying that you got your monies worth.

The show is at a small venue and may sell out. You're telling me you'd drive 4 hours round trip with a chance that the show will be sold out? You're S-M-R-T.

But you'd be smart enough not to complain about it, unlike the OP.Originally posted by: Darwin333

Hell no I wouldn't. I would pay whatever fee that I felt reasonable enough to avoid that, just like you did.
