Too bad the guy who got beat up wasn't black. Then this incident could have just been seen for what it most likely was- a bunch of cowardly kids making themselves feel better by beating up a helpless victim. It probably has nothing to do with race. And even if it was race related, who cares? Ultimately the motives are the same.

Who gives a shit why he was there? Maybe he was working, maybe he was going to church, maybe he was buying crack, maybe he wanted to stretch his legs and go for a walk. Really, it doesn't matter why. The only thing that matters is these sub-human pieces of walking shit beat up someone they knew nothing about. Again, those scum need to be executed like the animals they are.

My post did not defend the victim, or attack the attackers. I made a clear, simple, and concise (oops, that word might be above your reading level, sorry!) point that someone is absolutely jutsified in defending his/herself with a deadly weapon in a situation where they can potentially be murdered.

Perhaps you misread and thought I was someone else, or said something else. In which case, you could grow up, man up, and apologize for your mistake. Instead, you're getting defensive.

Most white people don't give a shit about race anymore. Unfortunately, the majority of people today that are racist or focus on race are those of a minority.

Hopefully the day will come when we don't refer to people by race at all, no different than we do with hair or eye color.

No you thought oh I'll post about my uncle, well I got a story of two grandfathers. And you know what, I feel sorry for the guy and at the same time I don't. That area was so bad they were having rallys calling for an end to the violence. I don't like condone what they did, but at the same time clearly this is situation he could have avoided.

And for further info, after ending up at the hospital, busted lip, jaw the size of baseball, and left eye completely closed from being jumped. My mother said I wanna ask you two questions, was she worth it and do I have to tell you not to go to that neighborhood again. My answer was no to both questions. His ass probably had no business being there, ain't too many victims in the hood.

I posted a simple anecdote about a situation where a "fistfight" like AzN was alluding to turned deadly. I used my personal anecdote because I could type it from memory - there are thousands of others that I could have found on the internet if I really wanted to. The point stands just as well either way - and that point was about violence and self defense, not race, not about the victim and why he was there and if he deserved it.

Meanwhile, you chose to respond to me with a story (that specifically mentioned race) that had absolutely nothing to do with my post. You did this because you assumed my post had something to do with race, and therefore, you felt it prudent to respond with a racial anecdote of your own. Your point was that violence happens to and by people of all races. You've made that point elsewhere in this thread. Reiterating it in response to my thread was flatly incorrect, ignorant, and/or racist.

Again - are you wrong, racist, or both? There is absolutely no third option.

Not the ones here. Spidey, the pos has on more than one occassion put forth he hopes Obama gets taken out.

And no I don't wanna look the other way. If they post the black threads, then I guess they can stomach having a black poster respond.

And in 13 years I have never started one thread in hatred of whites or any other race ever. No blame, wished harm, or ever judged an entire race on the acts of a few. Not one thread ever. In over 13 years, I felt the need to apologize once because I went to far and let the slop of some of the same ones lead me to say some things when the asian dude shot all those hunters. That next day I apologize because that day I was wrong. But threads are just tiresome and I just ain't gonna look they other way. These boys need to be found prosecuted and locked for a long time. But they don't deserve to die and no one knows any facts about what transpired at all.

So what reasons for him being there would justify their actions? BTW just BEING THERE is not a good enough reason, which is the one you keep using, which is just defending the thugs. These people have no right to tell anyone else they cannot be there and threatening physical violence and acting on those threats constitute domestic terrorism. Oh but we can't go around trying gangs as domestic terrorists, that'd be racist!

no matter the reason he was in teh neighborhood (though he is a idiot) it did not deserve the beating. Hope all those guys are found and charged with a hate crime (hahahahhahahahah oh yeah like that will happen).
