Looks like Maxis wants mAdD INDIAN to fail University!

Luckily my computer is below the minimum requirements and won't run the game smoothly. Hell, the SimCity3k barely ran smoothyl!

I have always loved Sim City and I have this game preordered but I have read threads everywhere where people are saying their EBs are selling them right now. I never knew this game was so popular till now. I thought I was the only one.
 
OMFG! Those look uber awesome! Man, now it's gonna hurt even more waiting on getting my copy. 🙁

But man, I'm so gonna play that thing till my computer dies or I do, whichever comes first. 😀
 
wow those night shots look great, individual lights on the fronts of the cars. amazing! i'll have to downl.. er buy this game asap.
 
I recieved 24 copies Friday morning, 24 copies Friday afternoon. We recieved the word to go ahead and sell them from corporate at like 6pm.

Go to your local Gamestop NOW 🙂 They have it 😛 EA floods the market with their crap which pisses me off, but there isn't much I can do about it.
 
After a full 24 hours of playing this game, Im offically bored. I have figured out how to regulate the economy and make a profit even with as few as 500 people.

This is what I am affraid of. I think I'll just wait until I can get it for $20. No need to spend $50 on a game I'll get bored with.

Anyone will get bored if they play it for 24 hours almost straight. That's called killing the game and taking the fun out of it.
 
hm...been playing it for awhile, and aside from the new graphics, i don't see much innovation to the game. eh it'll keep me busy for a few days anyway.
 
Boo! I just went out to get it, and EB, WalMart, London Drugs, and... some other place still don't have it for sale...


Oh well, maybe I'll just download it until I can go and buy it Tuesday...
 
I have a pre order, that I cancelled, because I was able to download the game back on the 9th of January....

After this weekend of playing, I deleted it off my system.

This is no difference than the other sim city's except you can see your city at night (resource hog when it switches night/day) its the same business deas, same ordinances etc.... in fact i disable the night time visual thing, and just keep it on daylight 24/7

the only major change in Sim City 4 is the terrain, there is more variety, and it looks "prettier", same thing iwth the buildings etc...

the game is also quite harder, and there is no difficulty setting like before. You start off with 100K in cash, and you will blow it all trying to get your city to bring in a profit.

very annoying, but i just need to get better at playing it I suppose




 
I got it about 2 days ago.....very fun so far. Game looks amazing running at 1600x1200x32. Definatly worth picking up.

It's quite simple to make a profit. No police, no schools, no hospitals. Wait until you get a few hundred thousand dollars then start putting them in slowly. It's tougher than previous ones, but it's not impossible.

Gamestop broke street date and has been selling them since Friday
