Dell not only was supposed to ship my replacement 2005fpw overnight for saturday delivery (and i quote, "it will arrive tommorow, i promise", but i was not supposed to be charged anything.

Not only is it not coming today (and they cant find my tracking number in the UPS system), but they charged my card again for the replacement which overdrafted my acct.

Im on the phone w/ BOA right now. Im so sick of dell its not even funny.

The old addage is true, you get what you pay for and i learned my lesson.

 

Come back when they are 2 2405's and a 2005fpw.

I dont have all of those, but my 2005 is perty.

I have the same lcd's and to be honest they bug me. I wish there was a way to turn down the backlights because they are too bright.

I've had the 2001FP for awhile and when I first hooked it up I thought the same thing. I got used to it pretty quick though. The only time it bothers me is when all the lights are off and the monitors are the only things on, but that never really happens for me.

I hope that's the case because I use a lot of graphs and charts and the yellows, red, and light green and light blue are almost neon, causing a lot of glare (even with the gamma turned down..and contrast down slightly.)

right now i'm sittin pretty with 2x2001FP and as soon as i can get a 2405 for 750 or less i'm jumping

NO question about it. As I mentioned in another thread, I got a guy in mississippi who actually diagnosed things right...I had a bad vga video port that was ghosting, and the monitor was fine. You won't get that from a malaysian support person. (not to mention NO hold time on the phone.)
