which size matches with the 2005? 17"?

nothing matches the resolution, though

2405FPw + 2005FP(s) is best

What he said. It's wonderful not having to minimize and maximize windows over and over when you're doing something. Makes using reference material 100 times easier.

nothing matches the resolution, though

2405FPw + 2005FP(s) is best

the 2405 is 12.7 inches tall, and has a horizontal resolution of 94.35 dpi.

the 2001 is 12 inches tall, and has a horizontal resolution of 100 dpi.

that height is much closer than you'd get with a 2005fpw.

the 2005 is 10.6 inches tall, and has a horizontal resolution of 99 dpi.

the 1704fpt is 10.9 inches tall, and has a horizontal resolution of 98 dpi.

so, as you can see, the closer match is the 2001 with the 2405, and the 1704 with the 2005.

of course, if you really wanted a match you'd just get two of the same :)
