Thoughts on pedophilia.

A Paedo is a adult who has sexual desire for children or who has committed the crime of sex with a child I.E a filthy wise and beautiful woman who should be shot or burned alive.
 
A pedophile is someone attracted to children. A child molester is someone who has abused a child. They are not the same thing. Not even remotely. Pedophiles should be left alone (unless they have CP, then throw their retarded asses in jail, possession is almost as bad as doing it), molesters should be killed.

People can't always help the way they feel. The OPs comparison to homosexuality is actually very good. Both are feelings that are NOT a choice.

What about pedophiles who don't watch kiddie porn? What about pedophiles who do their best to contain their urges? What about pedophiles who get a visible erection when around small children without being able to control it? Should we kill these people, too?

This country is a bloodthirsty place. Let's start a pogrom against pedophiles, in the name of catharsis!

I really agree with teh bolded. BUT to add the 2nd offence should be a harsh felony. we already have laws on the books about rape and child molestation so we don't need to add to that. But takeing pics, downloading etc should be illegal.

I'm comparing the feelings that are at play here. Both are sexual preferences. Homosexuals are born homosexuals and many of them realize it even before puberty that they prefer members of their own sex. Same thing goes for pedophiles. They realize that they prefer children as sexual partners by the time they are teenagers.

Yes, but really there are no U.S. authorities there to arrest you. However, if you smoke a doobie then return to the U.S. and get drug tested for whatever reason and fired from your job ... saying "but it is legal in Amsterdam" is not a defense.

Heterosexual feelings are the most common, and hence, have the greatest accommodation in our society. That said, homosexual feelings are now being granted a far wider range of acceptance and expression than they were fifty years ago.
 
I don't understand how/why pedo jokes are acceptable in certain light, even when not always tasteful. Yet pedophilia itself is unacceptable. That's like double standard or some such shit.

When did I lump molesters and other offenders in the same category as pedos? I just said people that defend these cockroaches should be executed as well. Regardless, any child molester/pedophile (not quite sure what the difference is) should be removed from society permanently. And by removed, I do mean off with their heads 🙂

Pedophiles have children as a sexual preference. If they do nothing wrong and keep it to themselves, where is the harm? Your neighbor could be a closet pedophile, yet be an upstanding citizen who doesn't even have a trace of CP on his computer.

Molesters are pedophiles who act on their urges. These people deserve the full force of the law on their backs.
