If someone posted her as their girlfriend here, ATOTers would say the same thing.

I think she is fine, but I don't she was a good cast for the Hunger Games. I would have expected a much thinner looking chick to play that role.

I have to agree. She looks perfectly normal, but in the books Katniss was described as thin due to the lack of food in the Districts.

Not a fan. Her face needs to go on a diet.

Judging by those later photos she definitely needs to lose some weight if she wants to continue to star on the big screen.

She seems to be one of those unfortunate souls (like may of us) who

1) have a metabolism that sharply decreases in their early 20s

and

2) shows even moderate weight gain in the face.

Nobody is forcing her into that career.

Ironically your average Hollywood rail would have fit the hunger games role better, but yeah she looks great.

Shes one of the best and most genuine looking celebrities out there

The "problem" is she has a round face that makes her look fatter than she really is, when in reality her body is pretty average (and I dont mean american average)

Umm, for a part in a hollywood movie where you are suppose to play a skinny character that barely gets to eat... being "normal" weight may actually be too fat for the role.

She should have lost weight for the Hunger Games out of sincerity in her acting, similar to how Christian Bale did for Machinist before beefing back up for Batman.

Transforming your body to match the character is sometimes required if the character has a specific body type.

For things like Silver Lining Playbook, though, she can keep her natural body shape.

She's definitely "fat" by ATOT's standards.

ATOT, the home of fat shaming threads.

I personally don't think she has a pretty face... But in the movies that I have seen her in, she has looked just fine body wise.

She does need to watch her weight though... as do all people, especially as they age out of young person metabolism. I'm feeling that myself :(

Somebody already said it, but the camera adds weight, so the LIVE IN-PERSON weight a person must be to appear good in television or film they need to be (In-Person Weight) - (Camera Weight Added).

Would you rather we televise and film people with the camera weight added and portray a incorrectly fat ideal weight? No, you wouldn't. So stop trying to make this a talking point that American Media is trying to corrupt our self-images. They are trying to correct a flaw in how cameras portray your physique.
