I think it's a little more involved than that, but let's agree to disagree, shall we?

The wiki page on it is pretty detailed and while it's obvious mistakes were made, I really don't see any conspiracy to deceive there.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iraq_and_weapons_of_mass_destruction

Oh its way more involved than that and there definitely was a conspiracy to deceive.

You really should watch this as it dives deep and talks with first hand witnesses.

https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/pages/frontline/bushswar/

That is, unless having facts on a subject isn't your thing.

Oh, I like facts, I just don't like other people's interpretation of them to fit a narrative. And this documentary relies heavily on that. But strip it down to the bare facts and I see no conspiracy to lie. Sorry if that upsets you.

Oh and here I was thinking you were serious. I actually went to that place and that makes this forum look like Fox News! FU :)

Don't fucking kid yourself. The ideology displayed there is the same one displayed by 99% of this forum. The only difference is they flatly don't allow any noise in their echo chamber. Today, this board looks almost identical to when W was in office. Same derangement syndrome just caused by a different president.

Well, how do you explain other countries intelligence agencies coming to the same conclusion?

That part always kinda tore it for me. Countries that opposed our actions, agreed with the basic intel that led to them.

But do we really need to get into this now?

Start with the Chilcot report.

Some context/info:

So why don't you think it would be good to legalize DACA recipients?
He likes the idea of spending billions of dollars deporting people that we already spent billions of dollars educating.

If that’s how you want to put it, and I perfectly understand why the left sees it this way. But you are looking at it from a very narrow angle.

And your supposedly broader perspective overcomes the basic immorality of your position how, exactly?

Why are we debating this here?

Not debating anything. You raised an issue and I presented you with some information that might clarify some things for you regarding what you believe to be the case. And that is all I have to say on the matter. Read or not, it's up to you.

I think Democrats ignored the bullshit and picked the most qualified candidate. How stupid of them. /eye roll

You've said it yourself, the "left" thinks in terms of logic and facts, the "right" thinks in terms of emotions, with those in the middle not doing much thinking at all (ok I added that last part).

Its ok we get it, you were drawn to the new shiny object. Just don't get mad that people saw the new shiny object for what it was, same as the old shit just with a "new and improved" sticker on it.
New and misleading sticker on it.

Not sure I would agree with you about that. Granted some conservatives have not bought into Trump's rhetoric and have moved toward the middle of the road. But OTOH, his rhetoric has also emboldened and enabled many others to speak/act out. I mean, we have white supremacy rallies in the streets and Fox News and the NRA are still alive and well. In fact, a lot of the ultra-conservatives that have dropped out of the public eye have done so because of personal misconduct that has been brought to light, rather than a lessening of their base,

The corruption from the liberals is ridiculous. They ruin peoples lives and don't even care about the harm they cause.
Liberals are the same kind of ape as anyone else, but if you imagine liberals to be moreso corrupt than everybody else you are mistake. Bigly.

Oh I could write pages on it. Moral reasons (no morality doesn’t just comprise of what the left thinks, it is much broader than that).
Don't be vague. Explain why it would be immoral. You dont have to get all wordy. Just tell us one reason why it would be immoral. Maybe just the biggest reason.

I can go on but as you asked just one reason

How is to fair to those countless people in the fucked up legal immigration system, both within and outside America, who many times spend decades and many end up in failure. That people who deliberately break the law and enter America illegally to have their children given preferential treatment over law abiding people? Because of the Hispanic vote. Law is for losers only?

Is fairness an essential part of morality, would you agree?

How is it unfair to them? If you want to help legal immigrants, fix the problems you think the current immigration system has. Whether or not DACA recipients get citizenship will not change a single thing for legal immigrants or people striving to become legal immigrants.

Fairness is a subjective term. I completely understand not wanting to give illegal aliens citizenship, but the kids? In what world is punishing kids for the sins of their parents considered fair?

Why would fairness be an essential part of morality? If I punch one person in the face does that mean in order to be moral I have to punch everyone?

Mass deportations of the people in the US illegally is infeasible, immoral, and frankly a dumb policy idea. A large percentage of those here illegally are the parents of children who are US citizens for example. Deporting the parents would be an insane idea in those situations.

Now that’s covered, the only question is what to do with the people we have here.
