This pisses me off. How do people get away with this?

This was sent to my entire class using blackboard:
Hey guys,
I made a complete typed study guide of all the bolded terms and concepts in the book from chapters 10,11 and 12. It also includes detailed information on all of the things Dr. Bass put on his study outline. If you would like a copy I will gladly give it to you for a small fee of 25 dollars. I have used these types of study guides all of this semester and I now have an A in the class. Please email me if you are interested.

Thanks and Good luck to all of you,
Lacie

Would this bother anyone else? Junk mail on my regular e-mail is bad enough but it pisses me off to get junk mail on my school address too.

I get spam all the time. I got spam the other day for a proofreading wesbite (at my uni email address).

buy a copy, then offer to sell it to others for 10 dollars instead. Sell 3 you've paid for yours and made a profit.

Contact your prof. Their lectures are copyrighted and he may get upset that someone is selling his intellectual property.

1 - It doesn't say it contains the lectures, only a study guide on the topics in the lectures.

2 - Rat.

and how old are you, little girl?

First of all, you cannot compare that Email to spam.

That girl had access to the class Email roster, and it was an efficient way for her to offer/advertise her Notes to those who might be interested and really need it.

It wasn't some Nigerian Prince wanting your money.

Chill.

not really. I'd be more inclined to hold the b1tch in contempt for her selfishness and lack of class spirit.

This is college. Nothing selfish about offering something that took your TIME for some MONEY. Especially if your grade depends on it.

Buy a copy and share it with some of your friends or classmates. 🙂

lol. send out an email saying you have purchased a copy of the notes from Lacie, and you are making them available to the entire class for viewing and photocopying at no cost

Lack of class spirit? I know its past midnight and its Friday but if you are that wasted maybe you should just go to bed?

I think it is a selfish attitude. but then, I am usually willing to offer assistance to people in my classes without charging a fee.

I'm sure even selling notes from lectures or books isn't legal or allowed.

Of course it is. At Rutgers they have two different stores that ONLY sell notes from lectures. Great for lazy students who miss alot of lectures.

1st Class Knotes was the name of one of the shops.. Cant remember the other.
