We had a bag of bugs last year but I thin kthey are for japanese beetles, these appear to be grubs or june bugs or whatever. Anyway, they were all dead thankfully except a couple. I just took the green thing off and as a bonus there was a dead frog in there. I hosed them all out and flushed the pipe a couple of times. Also bought a bunch of grub killer for the lawn. I think that's the problem, that the lawn is full of these little bastards, but it won't be for long!

I'm fighting those friggin European Chafer Beetles. Bastards.......... crows are pulling up my lawn trying to get at the larvae 😛

Cheers,
Aquaman

found this.....not my spelling...lol

Human urin ( my edit : I am guessing this is to be urine ? )
Rubarb leaf puree
Dish soap
chili peppers

Mix the urin and dish soap in equal amounts, these will be used to soke the chillies, so just be sure it's tall enough to cover them. After that put two leafs of rubarb (mature leafs) in a blender, mix till puree'd. Once finished put in the urin and dish soap mixture. Then put four whole hot chilli peppers in it and let sit overnight to 24 hours. Then pour into a bottle that connects to your hose, and spray where the june bugs exsist, they wont die, but it'll scare em off and be harmless to your plants and you. Though clean up is advised for your hands after, and a good bleaching for the blender Wink.

If you arnt really in the meens of going organic, or can't find rubarb in the store with leafs attached, "Seven" pest remover works fast, but I would also suggest putting nimotodes( spelling?) in your soil for dorment june larve.
They'll take three years to be fully equiped in your garden, but afterwards you wont have to worry anymore Smile.
Many people say they are only around for a month, but if they have good enough food, they'll last till frost Sad

She's the wildest hon in the wild kingdom
She's the wildest thang to float down
Well there's alligators and razorbacks,
But I don't care, I like to go down tubin' with you, Junebug
When Junebug floats down and yells "Hey!"
Even the razorbacks get outta her way
Ya know what I mean?
The mouth of the river is laughing at us, Junebug,
You know what I'm talking about
Junebug, Junebug, Junebug, Junebug

On the wildest run in the wild kingdom,
She's the wildest thang to float down!
Well there's snakes and snappers on cypress knees,
So come on down, I like to play in the water with you, Junebug
Well don't you listen to what they say,
'Cause we're a little different anyway.
Ain't it the truth!

Let's glide behind a wall of vegetation; no prying eyes on
A love celebration!
Let's glide behind that wall of vegetation,
I don't want no prying eyes when I give you a love sensation!
The mouth of the river is laughing at us, Junebug, Junebug.

Hey there Junebug, you sure look good dancing in the mud...
In the red mud!
Mosquitoes and water moccasins, 'gators and crocodiles
June's imagination really drives me wild!

GO Girl GO Girl GO Girl GO!
WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOA WHOA!
Let's get in the mud, I think I'm in love!
Junebug! GO GO GO Junebug GO GO GO Junebug!

Looks like your drain puked all over after drinking too much. It'll be fine after a couple days, leave some Tylenol by the opening it will be fine.

LOL!

Awesome.

They definitely aren't june bugs, though.

Edit: Hmm.. apparently there are june bugs that color? I've only seen the green iridescent ones.

If the bugs aren't hurting anything, leave them alone. Are they eating your house or food? If not, who cares what they're doing. Just ignore them.

Put in a 500 or 1000 gallon underground holding tank for the rain water.
Use a diversion screen filter to keep out leaves and other debris.
Then use the rain water supply (purified via reverse-osmosis), instead of municipal water.
Powered by solar electric or wind turbine.
No more water bills....

Weird how different parts of the US has different definitions for what a June Bug is, here in Cailifornia everyone I know would consider those June Bugs. The green ones you talk about we call Japanese Beetles.

While completely harmless, Jung Bugs are possibly the most annoying insect. They fly around and blindly bang into everything. They're also very hard so when one flies into the side of your head you feel the thud.

Whatever your part of the country calls them, it's a bug I hate with a passion.
