Good for you, Xero!

Now you will truly begin to tap into your awesome potential.

Onward and upward!

BTW... I LIKE this kind of openess on boards like these. This is what makes places like OT worthwhile in the long run.

Thanks for all the nice comments guys :)
And dont worry, i'll NEVER go back to drugs....It's such a great feeling to wake up and know you're clean, not having to worry if your workplace throws a drug test at you.....and not having to lie about stupid crap like i used to..I've just been enjoying life, and flowing with its ups and downs, trying to not let the downs get the best of me...

Good job, XERO

It takes a real man/woman to admit their faults, change and to apologize.

Great job xero. If you ever get down on life, remember the good times you've had recently, and think of all the good things life gives ya.

Being there and having done that gives you a world of experience to teach others not to do it, and letting go of your past mistakes makes you a bigger person than before.

xero -- Hi. My name is Harvey, and I'm a compuholic. I feel compelled to warn you that these damned machines are as addictive as many drugs. I have been fortunate that, so far, I have not had to turn to robbing liquor stores to support my NFS. ;)

AaronP -- Crawl back into the slime from which you came!

Congrats xero. I happy for you and I am glad you keeping it clean.

On another note, how about sharing some pics of your csystem when it is complete. Not the comptuer, your stereo :)

Glad to hear. It takes a lot to do that. Hope you aren't lying, 'cause that's just messed up. Anyway, continue to be drug-free, we love those people here at AT :)

"Dear members of the AT Forums:

I'd like to formally apologize to everyone who put up with my crap when I was doing drugs. It wasn't fair to you the way I acted. I was an ass, and I realize this. I know I disrupted the conversations of many people in the AT IRC room, and once again, I apologize. I realized I pissed off a few of you on ICQ and AIM, and I again, apologize. I'm very ashamed of the way I acted, and I wish I never had gotten into that crap; as it was a lonely, desperate road. I hope that all of you can find it in your hearts to forgive me, as I'm desperately seeking forgiveness for my actions. I know I was very wrong in the way I acted; there's nothing I can now do about those actions, except what I'm doing now, bringing them to light and asking for your forgiveness. And I'd like the personally thank GirlFriday and LTK007 for helping me along the road to being clean and drug-free. I'd like to comment also that it's been since Mid-August since I've last touched the evil that tormented me.

Sincerely,

x3ro"

Hey xero, who's it going? Sorry to hear bout that... glad to hear you're doin' ok now though. You did kinda get on my nerves a while back, whether you were on drugs or not, I dun know and dun really care. But right now I'm kinda not here myself, so yes you're forgiven of course! :D :D :D :D :D D::D:DDd

<< And dont worry, i'll NEVER go back to drugs.... >>

Xero,

Never say never. I cannot count the number of times I've heard precisely those words from somebody in recovery only to find that, shortly thereafter, they are back out. It is better to say, "I will not do drugs today".

You are an onion, and you have just begun to peel back the layers.
