this just isn't right...

It's fuckin' awful. All summer I look forward to fall and winter, and it's ruined. It's not even "warm" for December. It feels like the asshole of Louisiana around here. This is what hell feels like.
 
It's been around 20-30F in Idaho for a while, snow every other day. Last year I was enjoying the 40-50F around Xmas. I wouldn't mind some of the warmer weather the Easterners are getting.

But yeah it's a warm Christmas though, I'm wearing shorts.
 
We had a record high here in WV today. It didn't get to 70 though. I love not having to use the electric heat.

The record here for this day is 4C in 1994. I think it went up to like 10C or something if I heard correctly.

It's 0 now, but yeah, this hot weather is aweful. It's only going to get worse as we continue to pollute the planet. The other day we had a leak in our building due to ice damming on the roof. It's never leaked in that spot before. Of course that's a problem with the roof, but it should not be hot enough for it to leak at this time of year!

Ridiculous wind storm today too, lots of damage. I'm at work on my last night shift, stuff is down everywhere, it's insane. The NOC is not the place you want to see a lit Christmas tree on Christmas eve. We have some yellow, red, orange, purple, blue, not too much green, I want more green.

At this point I'm pretty much just riding this out, there are no techs to go on troubles. I don't blame them for not wanting to go.
 
It's 40 degrees (F) here on the southern tip of the Oregon coast, expected to drop to 38 tonight and 33 tomorrow night. We even have snow in the hills (above 1500 ft) right now. Rainy as usual but temps are about 10-15 degrees below normal.

Come on summer!

Yeah every year this weird unusual weather seems to make leaks or other building issues show up that were never apparent before. All these snow/ice/melt cycles create ice dams and other situations that can cause leaks.

Years back we had rain right in the middle of winter, that's when I found out my foundation and weeping tiles was not doing it's job. Had to get all that dug up and redone. 17k job.

Shrug, here in the asshole of Louisiana it's 68 degrees. No need to run either the AC or the heater. I personally enjoy it but maybe you can find a walk in freezer to enjoy?
 
75 here today. I love it. Hate the damn cold. Going to be high 60's tomorrow, 70's Saturday then cool down to the 50's and high 40's next week. Liking the warmer weather.

Forgot to mention I'm in the Dallas area.
