Hope you told her that to her face, 5'2" and 240lbs, good grief. Part of the reason why I canceled my OkC account, everyone was in that range.

I'd be more curious what happened with your ex that she gained a 100lbs in one year . . .nothing you could do to prevent it? Intervention?

Yeah sounds like you're attacking overweight people and fatties in your post there. Who are you trying to kid?

Not that I give a shit, but if you say you aren't but then do it blatantly....?

You're right I did attack a specific overweight person who was the one who was trying to make weight the issue. The only reason I even mentioned the ex's original weight was to give an idea of what she was like when I started dating her, and then what she was when we stopped having sex.

If she hadn't brought it up, I wouldn't care if she was fat or not. I personally am not attracted to her, and would never date her. That doesn't mean that I dislike her as a person. If she is happy being 5'2 and ~240, then more power to her. I don't think that is the case though, because if she didn't care about her weight then it wouldn't be an issue when another person doesn't find somebody doubling their weight attractive.

I would have to be totally wasted to fuck a 220lb 5'2" chick. And I'm 300lb 6'. D:

I had a fat girlfriend back in the day. It wasn't so bad because she had a nice shape and her hygiene was top notch. No nasty splotches of skin and brown spots like most fat chicks have.

I might post a pic at some point of the girl in question (not the ex) minus face.

OP doesn't have the ability to judge an audience, very important skill IMO.

I was talking as I would with friends (the ones I was sitting with). She is "friends" with the same people, but her and I are not friends and solely coworkers. That was the mistake I made. I forgot I wasn't with *just* friends.

Hope you told her that to her face, 5'2" and 240lbs, good grief. Part of the reason why I canceled my OkC account, everyone was in that range.

I didn't say things in quite that way, as it is still work and it's not worth risking my job over.

As for the ex, what it boiled down to was that she stopped watching what she ate, stopped doing anything other than sit at home on her computer, and things along those lines. She was working long days (16+ hour at amusement park) in the sun and couldn't eat all the time when she was that weight. Then when she left that job, she stopped everything and just ate bad food and did nothing active. I might have been able to do something if I knew then what I know now about health and nutrition, but I was ~19 at the time and stupid basically. Also there were many other issues with the relationship so I didn't much care either.

Better make sure that she doesn't file some sort of sexual harassment against you.

About the only thing that won't offend someone is talking about the weather. I have to talk about the weather with people every day.

One of my coworkers gets legitimately angry at weathermen for failing to predict wild shifts in weather. She also gets mad if it's too cold, too hot, too rainy, too snowy, or too cloudy.

It's fucking Minnesota. I hate it when people complain about how cold it is. IT COMES WITH THE TERRITORY.

It doesn't matter, talking about sex at work and then having some woman being sexually offended because she is fat can cause a lot of trouble if you piss her off.
it was a joke. But I'm not disagreeing. Hell hath no fury........

I'd go out with a fat chick... just not 5'2" 220lb fat.

Yeah, you seriously better hope she doesn't take it to HR. You made a poor decision to say what you did in front of overweight, female coworkers.

When asked why, I answer honestly that it was because she went from 115 lbs to ~220 lbs in under a year and was 5 ft 2. Now, this group all of them are overweight (which is where I went wrong in talking about stuff) . . .

Nice. Ignorantly insulting an entire table of people to their faces, then you getting bent out of shape when one responds defensively. Your OP should have ended where I ended it, and with an oops emoticon.

I'm sorry your wife has ballooned into a fat tub of lard. Karma's a bitch, as you are beginning to find out.
