This is what you get if you pay $60K USD for a first class flight ticket on Emirates

As cool as that is, if I was in a position where it's no big deal to pay that much for a single one time event, I'd probably be in the position to buy my own plane, and then do this as often as I want.

Ain't no shower in that gulf stream

Oh well, I can always hope for some really lofty perks:
- TSA Precheck.
- Airport lounge access, maybe?
- The big seats on Spirit Airlines.

the big seats on spirit airlines are good for leg room, but the back of the seat has that weird bumpy plastic that hurts my back after about 3 hours. not sure if i would pay extra for it again.

Been on EVA first class cuz we were upgraded from economy plus and it was from TPE to YYZ. Don't think I would pay for it but free upgrade ain't bad. The seat fully flattens but idiots put something on the side that interferes with my arm placement when fully flattened. Seat not very comfy as bed either. Needs more ergonomic work.

I just check United to see how many miles I will need to fly first class from US to Asia.

Are you ready?

390,000 miles plus $64 for taxes/fees for first class.

350,000 miles plus $64 for taxes/fees for business class.

No go for me.

In my experience, Emirates has the best looking stewardesses. Have had the good fortune to see some at a pool.

Hennessey Paradis is AMAZING. Hennessey is already my favorite liquor drink, and Paradis I have had just one night, three double glasses. Emptied the bottle, got a few pics of it as well. Very expensive, unlimited on the plane? So jealous.

Glad this guy pulled this off, pretty badass.

What I learned about Mr. Huang: He's a drunk.

If ordering 2004 Dom and Hennessey Paradis in unlimited quantities at no cost until I must be physically carried off the flight at my destination (presumably via a sedan chair) is wrong then I don't want to be right.

Yea, I think I would rather go to a nice restaurant/bar and eat and drink .. not a tiny lonely bar on a airplane....

You'd be surprised - right around hour 9 the business class bar is a popping place. And why not? They have a stewardess working the bar making cocktails with snacks and shit out.

I would expect a lot more than a drink and a snack for 60K or whatever ...

for that money, I can get like 200 or more fantastic dinners at michelin rated restaurants ..

I could eat 600 great steak or prime rib dinners wth dates and drinks ..

I simply would rather have "a lot of fun" "a lot of time" instead of trying to cram 60000 dollars of fun into one day ... to me, Its wasteful/crass

For the people who usually fly like that, it's not an either/or. If you have nine or ten figures floating around in your various accounts, why waste your life standing in line, eating crap airplane food, sitting in a crowded terminal, carrying your own bags etc etc etc?

you are obviously not the target market for first class emirates - the target market is people who can afford 60k tickets AND 600 great steak or prime rib dinners WITH hookers/blow/drinks

Wasteful for you and us plebs. Even regular millionaires.

Those UAE princes with stupid amount of money don't care. They're happy to take advantage of this ultra premium service. And the airline is happy to take their money.

I wouldn't spend $60,000 on it either but I would spend my 250,000 points I have sitting in my account on it.

What a waste...

Lamar got hookers, blow et al., and a place to stay for $75k. Fly economy and spend the rest on hookers, blow et al.

You are sacrificing those points though, you could have used them for a number of "normal" flights, or even a number of "business class" upgraded flights ...

the opportunity cost to me just is crazy ...

I can not relate to it, it does not look good to me. Sorry, It is not right for me to pee on the parade, but, Its just one of those things that to me, makes no sense, kind of like gambling and the lottery.
