This is torture!

Been in a biggest loser contest at the school for 2 1/2 months. Tomorrow is the final weigh in. Because the three of us in front are ultra-competitive, and all good at math, we each know that anyone can win by fasting for the final day or so & dehydrating ourselves.

That means, no dinner last night, no beverages last night after splitting wood for 3 hours, and worst of all, no coffee, breakfast, water, lunch, dinner, or anything else today. (Plus an hour at the gym to continue dehydrating myself.) Gahhhh! COFFEEEEEEE! I NEEEEEEDDDDD COFFEEEEEE!

Caffeine pill

*rimshot*

Dr. Pizza,
Extended dehydration is really not healthy for you. You could pass out, crash your car, etc. Personally, I'd be worried about passing out in a field full of farm animals. "Billy Goat's Revenge" comes to mind. 😱 <--you can't see the goat behind him, but you get the idea.

Did you equally load down on water and food prior to the initial weigh in?

I always wonder what the average contestant in these contests do to get an advantage.

You should have a cup of coffee now plus mix in some whiskey in your coffee so your body really squeezes out the last drops of water out of you 😛

(Please dont follow this advice)

This seems extremely healthy for you. I mean, if you're going to bypass the spirit of the game, might as well go all the way.

Take one of those crap your insides out pills but don't drink any water.
Donate whole blood to lower the weight of your blood. Actually, double donate.
Go to a sauna and sweat the rest of the water out of your body.

LOL, it seems you may be overdoing the weight loss process and making it harder on yourself due to the competitiveness. Good luck with that. You really are torturing yourself. Your willpower is incredible. I hope this is not negatively affecting your teaching ability.

Other tips for putting yourself ahead in this contest:
1.) Donate Blood.
2.) Make sure you take a dump as well before before tomorrow's final weigh in. Force yourself if you have to.
Dump can weigh a ton sometimes...

Dulcolax, Senna Lax, etc...whatever laxative you want to use.

Could also make sure to shave off all your hair including legs, genitals

Pull out your teeth

Have a few ribs extracted

Stick your limbs in a wood chipper

And finally - go to the weigh-in only wearing a thong

Go get some caffeine pills.

Get your fix, plus not take in any extra water while also helping (ever ever so slightly) to shed a little more. 😀

It's just a little over 24 hours of fasting. Not much more "unhealthy" than when the doctor says "you have surgery to remove your wisdom teeth. No food for 16 hours." (That was the duration my son had to go last week.)

Caffeine doesn't really act as a diuretic for people who regularly consume caffeine.

All three of us have lost 30+ pounds in less than three months, not including these final couple of days. But, it goes by body weight percentage. Each has lost over 10%. No one else is even remotely close to the three of us. The three of us have enjoyed the entire competition, occasionally working out together, and more often, attempting to sabotage the others by making sure very tempting food was delivered to the other person.

On the line: several hundred dollars to the winner (and bragging rights); not quite sure how much 2nd place gets. Conceivably, I can hit 16.8% by tomorrow morning (my initial goal), I'm at 15.2% at the moment. And, would almost immediately gain the extra few pounds I lose today right back.

I think I saw this on an episode of 1000 ways to die...

If you want to feel horrible, do what wrestlers, boxers, MMA fighters do. Put on some trashbags and go sit in a sauna or ride an exercise bike or something. Don't drink any water or eat any food, especially salt. Go sit it a really really hot epson salt water bath, then jump into ice water and go back and forth.

Depending on your weight and hydration levels you can lose up to 20 lbs of water weight in like 24 hours. If you are hardcore, take some exlax or diuretic type pills. Of course you'll probably gain 18 pounds back in 24 hours.

It kind of ruins the game but it would theoretically work for a 1 time weigh in.

I bet the quality of education is a little subpar today.

Seriously, I could not imagine actively teaching people anything when so drained for energy like that. And I would be very drained without caffeine and glucose for the brain.

But I also don't really have much fat to convert for such purposes, so...
