my observations:
1. The Spurs are now a dynasty
I admit the Spurs are the best team in the NBA overall, but I don't see how the qualify as a dynasty. Sure they won it in '99, '03 and '05. In my book there at least has to be a two-peat, but more so a three-peat to become a dynasty.
2. Duncan came up big and shut everyone up who said he isnt playing well. he hit his FT, and more importantly, he was the reason that ginnobli and bowen got those open looks for threes
Duncan did have a good night. However, I would say it was Detroit's lack of defense that allowed Ginnobli and Bowen "those open looks."
3. Rasheed had a good series but made some bone headed plays. i.e that ill advised three point attempt COMING OUT OF A TIMEOUT
Sure, but he was also the hero in some of the other games...like game 6 for instance.
4. Spurs are the best team in the NBA
Yes.
5. Mr. Billups DID NOT come up clutch like everyone says he is. mr horry, however, did
Okay Mr. Horry clutched in Game 5--spectacular and outstanding performance indeed. However, Mr. Horry is not a very consistent player. He's fortunate to leech onto teams that will win an NBA championship. Some folks in this thread have said that Mr. Horry is a star--hah! He's a
good basketball player not a superstar, not even a star.
