Well, with all these polls here and there about should Gore concede, etc, etc...I'm wondering what the actual makeup is in OT of political parties. So everyone vote in the poll...

<<Are you a...>>

I'm a hateful teen who doesn't give a damn about the election and wish they'd get it over with. Bush and Gore are both lousy candidates and I doubt it'll matter which one wins.

I'm nonpartisan - I'd vote for whoever shares the most of my ideas, regardless of what political party he/she belongs to.

Thanks for adding it, konichiwa ;)

Yeah, you left out independant. I voted Republican but I also like a lot of the Libertarian ideas. Labeling myself as one or the other doesn't work so well.

I'm pleased you included Libertarian as an option. :D

I'm probably more of an indepedent as I don't agree with a few Libertarian ideals, but I think we need a few Libertarians in office to shake things up a bit. ;)

I'm a registered Libertarian -- but only because one cannot register as a member of the Constitution Party in my state.

Add it to the list. I'm curious as to if there are any Constitutionalists around here.

Sorry man, but the Constitutionalists scare me.
From their platform:

<< Under no circumstances should the federal government continue to subsidize activities which have the effect of encouraging perverted or promiscuous sexual conduct. >>

Niiiiiiiice. Nothing like anti-gay bigots to liven up my day. No offense if you aren't, but the fact that it's in their platform gives me worry.

<< We favor a moratorium on immigration to the United States >>

My girlfriend would not be here if this policy was implemented. Great, now they're anti-immigrant too.

<< We favor the abolition of the Office of Special Trade Representative, and insist on the withdrawal of the United States from the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT), the World Trade Organization (WTO), >>

Alright! They're anti-free trade too! This just gets better and better!

Hmmmmm, it sounds like a party of bigoted racist isolationists to me. Tons of fun for everyone...as long as they're not gay/perverted/foreign!

Proud Libertarian.

I was one of the 29% of Massachusetts voters who didn't vote for Ted Kennedy. (No not for Jack E. Robinson either --- Carla Howell.)
