My best game I had a high score of 5600 and was #1 for a long time the first day I played it - somehow I got that way really quickly.

Since then, I can't even get over 3000 lol. Getting worse or everyone else is getting better. Or maybe I'm taking too many chances.

Some games seem to be heavy on newbs, like a guy ten times my mass splitting to eat me.

Saw a neat trick this morning. Normally I ca hover around large guys safely, and if they are split they are particularly vulnerable and unlikely to get me. So the trick is some guy had the same name as th biggest guy and was orbiting around him, seeming to be him. But only after he ate me a second time did I realize it was a knock off and not the actual big guy eating me.

I made it to #1 for a brief moment, before an ace figured out how to blow me apart with green blobs. Didn't take long for vultures to pounce on me and gobble me up

Was part of a murder suicide. I was sitting at #3 in size and the #2 creates a spore and splits me into a bazillion pieces. I retaliate and split him into a bazillion pieces. Some random nothing grabbed both of us up and became the new #1.

I was part of a gang bang. I was # 4, and #1,#2 and #5 ganged up on me in a corner, 1 and 5 shooting W's into 2 until he was big enough to eat me, then they wandered off together and didn't even go after each other (and either could have easily taken 5) :/

Ok, blew away my old record to 8754. Stayed this way for about 20 minutes or so before I got bored and turned myself into all smallest possible dots and laughed my ass off as everyone was trying to chase down a huge blob of smalls.

Eh it's fun, but I predict it will be forgotten in a month. There's no real depth to the gameplay.

I don't know. I haven't had it crash on me once yet. That's more than I can say for most AAA titles these days. LOL.

I had a bunch of connection fails today to a US server, so I started playing a Russian one with names like USA or NATO > RUSSIA and what not. Maybe it's in my imagination but I swear people go for me sooner when I'm a US flag, like they'll attack me even when it's a really tactically stupid move because i'm so tiny.

I think this game is fantastic. It's really a fine multiplayer game.

What names do you guys use the most?

I usually play as Jupiter, Borg Sphere or just Canada (I live in Canada). I normally just play as Jupiter though. I have been in a session with another "jupiter", however, but he had a lower case "j" instead. I'm of course not the only one around playing as Jupiter so don't assume it's me, hehe. I suppose that the only way to really know if it's anyone in particular from AnandTech forums would be to play as our nickname (then again, someone else somwhere might be using it out of mere coincidence).

You can direct your blobs back together and they will merge after a bit.
