I merely asked for Proof that there was something amiss in this situation.

As far as we know, these were legitimate Seciruty Officers who after chatting with the Police were allowed to return to their place in front of the door.

According to the report, the police arrived and escorted the Black Panther with the nightstick off the premises. The poll watcher did speculate that the men's intention was to intimidate voters and that their motive was racial.

There ya go.

1. Wearing Black Panther clothing, passing self off as Black Panther
2. Poll water believed he was intimidating voters
3. Black Panther was not "official security" (this was a laughable plausibility, but in the interest of completely debunking all possible apologies, it's included).

(this is where you request more links, a non-Fox-corroborating-news-source, and official documentation notarized by the local Police Department that was on scene)

Ah thank you.

The last 10 minutes I did some looking and found a similar, though different tale of what happened. Difference is that the guy with the Club was asked to leave, but the other guy was a legit Poll Watcher.

Here's the link.

It doesn't really bother me that much, not nearly as much as you apologists who want absolute proof or are willing suggest that it's a staged video, right wing conspiracy. It's actually pretty funny watching you guys rationalize that it's OK for blacks to use racism against whites. You know, God Damn America and all that.

My only point is maybe this is just start of this kind of stuff? I would think any truely fair minded person wouldn't be an apologist for this crap.

It's funny how you don't comprehend well.

Well, the poll watcher wasn't doing his job, obviously ;) . Regardless, the one who the discussion has primarily focused on had no business being there and was removed

This is proof? LOL.

So prodictable

I could shove the proof square up your ass, but you'd still deny your butt hurt.

Dude, all you did was link to excerpts from a story that Fox news ran, I have already seen the full peice on Fox with the live video as it happened. No one was interviewed on camera.

All Fox news said was this (and all your link does it point back to Fox's report, not some new insite)

"said a Republican poll watcher who was interviewed by Fox News. "As I walked up they closed ranks. I'm an Army veteran; that does not scare me. So I walked directly in between them and went inside and found poll watchers, they said they had been here for an hour, and they told us not to come outside because a black man is going to win this election no matter what."

This "interview" was not part of the live feed I watched on Fox. They had cameras, why not get the "republican pole watcher" to say it live? Again, real fishy.

I'll ask you the same I asked Corbett:

Wait are you saying they could read minds? They knew just what white folk to intimidate? Because in case you hadn't noticed, Obama won PA fairly large and at least one or two white people in the state voted for Obama.

Are you saying that out of all the cities in America, Fox just happened to chose Philly to be the city to have Rick Leventhal and their QRBR poised and ready to "catch" black against white voter intimidation and voila, they found it?

Are you saying that after the Todd incident we shouldn't be cynical when it comes to this kind of story, especially when Fox is only station that reported it?

Are you wondering, like me, why Fox dropped the story so fast, that no other network picked it up, and that no follow up interviews with police, polling supervisors, or voters were done?

You have presented no proof whatsoever from any source other than Fox. Linking to KCCI.com who is simply reporting Fox's version of the events isn't anything new or proof.

Call me crazy but I'll wait to hear the official police report before sticking my nose up Ashley Todd's again. Oh what, that wasn't me.

LOL you are one weak-minded individual, aren't you? Take your argument with Corbett to Corbett. You'll need some new material if you want to discuss this with me, as I was not a part of that discussion. Here's what we KNOW AS FACT: A man posing as a Black Panther was standing around - ARMED - and prevented at least one voter from entering the polling location. This is illegal. The police were called and said individual was removed from the premises.

If you want to keep your head buried in your ass, that's just fine with me. I really don't care ;) . I doubt you own a suit, though.

Me, too. There is nothing new coming out about it from any news source.

I have found actual video of the army guy making his claims for the camera on Fox. So I was wrong about that. He does claim they made remarks to him on the way in and out.

But just like Todd, I have my doubts but will 100% retract my cynicism and apologize for being wrong if this guy turns out to be telling the truth. Sorry, but after the Todd bullshit, I need more than one unnamed republican pollster's account of the story.

Why in God's name would these black guys assume that all white people approaching the polling location were going to cast a vote for McCain? Or were they so confident that Obama would take PA that it was a risk they were will to take to scare and intimidate every white voter? Why is it there is only one person claiming they were spoken to, and a republican poll watcher at that? Surely they didn't single this one guy out? There has to be at least one other person who saw this and can confirm it happened.

It doesn't look like we will ever get answers because Fox didn't and doesn't seem like they are going to follow up on it. I am wondering why they gave Ashley Todd's story endless airtime for days until it was proven false and why this one, which at least has video proof of a black guy with a stick in his hand was dropped off the front page by 5pm last night and burried on air? All the other news outlets found the Todd story credible enough to run with it, why not this one that has actual video?

There's no more follow-up because there's nothing more to follow-up on. A guy was intimidating voters and he was removed from the premises as a result. That's the story. There's no need to try to determine why the "black guys" assumed this, that or the other... whatever the one's motives or assumptions were, his actions were illegal and uncivilized. Case closed.

Not really, I'd still like to know why the fuck they were there in the first place. Who hired them? Why the police weren't interviewed after the fact. These are some serious allegations being levied.

I would think whoever had them there in whatever official or non-official capacity, should be questioned. I think they guy making the claims should be questioned, too. Why not question the black guys as well. I would like to know if they are really part of the Black Panther movement or just some self-appointed wannabies.

You mistake my wanting to get to the bottom of this as Obama/Black Beret Wearing Guy apologism. That's bullshit. I want to know why they hell they were there and if any witnesses can corroborate the poll watchers accusations. I don?t see this as apologizing or being unreasonable?

I just found it very odd that it was burried so fast.

Seriously Corbett, what was the problem with that video? I was watching live on 4 last night and despite the fact that some of them were drunk, everyone seemed like they were behaving.

Did you see the guy interviewed? He was a complete moron! I was just posting the video to show how stupid some people are.

This video shows the interview. It isn't the phone cam footage of the guy with nightstick. Not sure which you wanted:

Vid

Watch later on in the video as they pan out at this polling location. It looks like an apartment complex and a pretty run down one at that. This is where people get to come and vote in Philly?

You need to chill and give it time

This is a jarring catalysts for black relations towards the rest fo society.

I can see in 20 - 30 years, being of African decent is about the same as being
of Italian or Irish decent.

Early in the 20 century, those two demographics were are the bottom of society's totem pole.
