Sunshine, you should stop being so hard on yourself.
The thing is, LordJezo is probably struggling with his "inner self" ...
After all, he does flirt with gay bartenders and spank other men.
But that "stop being pissy" line was just a little to far.

He needs to grow up and stop trying to blame others.
In that situation, all you need to say is "I'm sorry, but it's really tough to hear you with these drunks.
Maybe tomorrow I can call you and talk more?"

LordJezo! You got some 'splaining to do!!

Sounds like things aren't working out too well, though. If you feel this way and he ignores it, then you should seriously prepare yourself to break up with him.

Take his advice and dump him. Bet it'll make you "less pissy." Make him come to you.

this doesnt sound like a 'serious discussion about our relationship' to me....

One of you (or maybe you both) are obviously unable to communicate...which is, very, very bad for a relationship

What was the "serious conversation" about? If it was you telling him about the things he was doing wrong, then the drunk people must have been a way to get out of talking about all the heavy stuff.

He might just be one of those guys that are afraid to face conflict.

tell him that he needs to take responsibility in the relationship and respond to what you want.

You both have some serious issues.

Can't say it better myself.

Indeed..I know i have issues....but he knows it.

Maybe I just didn't see that he had some too.

We all have issues. It's whether or not your issues can live in harmony with his that's important. :)

Everybody's got issues. The question isn't whether or not you have issues, it's how you deal with them.

You're trying.

He's not.

This reminds me of the time someone signed their divorce papers (yes, BOTH people were there & signed) at the lunch table at work.

Uh, so what'd he do? He wanted to get off the phone, it's not like he cheated on you.

i think that might be the root of the problems..

he prefers guys (to hang out with, chill with, whatever with) instead of his lovely girlfriend.

Could be. His visits to the gay bar(s) probably don't help either.
