How is it a stupid article and completely untrue? The article never stated that the robots would replace any sort of pharmacy jobs.

It is just trying explain the benefits of having a robotic presence.

Didn't read the article and that would make a lot more sense. Should have said stupid comment to the guy implying robots would take over a pharmacist's job.

This causes some group of pharmacists to be anal about how that causes them not be classified as "doctors" so they whine and lobbied to their way and now every school have to grant a pharmacy degree with the "doctor' instead of "bachelor" designation on it.

That wasn't the pharmacists per se. It was the National Association of Boards of Pharmacy and some pharmacy schools who wanted to tack on an extra year and get the "cool" doctorate. I skipped all that crap and got a PhD. in biology and did research for a couple years then fell back on my undergrad because funding dried up at the place I worked. Oh well, pays the bills and all that.

The doctorate in Pharmacy has existed since the program started. Much like other doctorates outside MD, you are not a MD, but more a PhD.

Many professors I encountered wanted to be called doctor as well, sort of a dick move in my opinion, but they put the time in and controled my grades so whatever.
