to be honest...i hate coors brewing more than anyone i've ever met. I've boycotted their company for about a year now, and will continue to do so. Fvck coors. I won't drink Molson now (even though it is one of my fav canadian beers) because coors owns them.

You morons posting "Canadian beer sucks" ever drink truly Canadian beer?

Note: If you bought it in the US, it's not truly Canadian beer... it's brewed differently for the States than it is for Canada...

Or, basically, we import their piss-water, because it's the closest thing they have to our beer.

(seriously)
If you want good Canadian beer, you have to go to Canada and bring it back (limit 2 cases per person per trip)
Higher alcohol content in Canadian beer too.

btw, is there anyone in Canada who drinks Labatts Carnival? WORST tasting Canadian beer I've ever had the misfortune of tasting (and promptly spitting out)
I've tried far more brands of beer than the youngsters in here denouncing Canadian beer.... and some of my favorites definitely came from Canada. Very few (none?) of the nationally known beers in the US qualify as a great beer. Some of the micro-brewers do make excellent beers though.

Bah, Canadian beers suck. I have many Canadian friends but the truth is that Canada is basicly another state. And the ones that insist on speaking french need to be sent back to France.

🙂

Ok...this is starting to get retarded.

First, the brain-drain started. We began losing doctors, engineers, professors to the allure of higher wages in the United States. That I could deal with. They're just doctors, nobody likes 'em anyways.

Then, we started to lose our athletes. Wayne Gretzky(sp?), Patrick Roi and many, many others flocked to US Baseball, footbal and hockey teams for the higher wages. Not a problem, since they come home for the olympics and kick a$$ anyways 😛

But now...the sacrasanct has been violated. The last, great frontier has been breched.

No longer can Joe Canadian rant about how proud he is to be Canadian...because he's HALF FREAKIN' AMERICAN now! The doctors I can deal with, the athletes I can deal with...BUT NOT OUR BEER! What are Americans gonna do with canadian beer anyways? YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE BEER! Whenever I'm in the States, it costs me a fortune to get loaded, because I can down your "Beer" like water! Ask any Canadian, it's the same thing!

It's a disgrace, I tell you! What's next, selling off "The Pride of Nova Scotia"? The CN Tower? Shame on you Molson, for selling out a big piece of our identity as Canadians!

/me pops open a Moosehead...that last fully Canadian-owned brewery.
Sit down & have another beer bro.

Canada is Little USA, because most of the investment in our country is from the US...we might as well be Mexico to the US, but because we speak mostly English...we have better relationship with the US.

What I'm trying to say is get use to be an American, because we are American.

PS. If you want good beers, then there are such thing as micro breweries also good beer can be made at home brews or your shed.

What's so good about free health care if the US is taking all your drs?

We lose about 500 doctors a year to the US.
We get about 1500 doctors a year from overseas.
Socialism tastes as good as our beer, which you can't really get in the US. The stuff we export is crap.
And Sam Adams tastes like crap. Come up here for truly great micro brews. Go to Hamilton, or Halifax, a ton of pubs in those two towns brew their own, it's great.

ah shadap. thanks to u guys far too many movies supposedly shot in american cities oddly look like they are shot in vancouver😛

*plop* cheers

EDIT: The biggest crime of all is that during the FIFA world cup in Germany 2006 they will not be serving German beer in the stadiums... fvcking Budweiser has exclusive "beer rights" so there will not be any Erdinger, Paulaner, Warsteiner, Becks, Flensburger or Radeberger for the games. Pathetic! Spoils half the point in having the games in Germany in the first place. Not to mention that the functionaries and the players will be driven around in Hyundais - what happened to BMW, Audi or Mercedes!?

There are plenty of excellent American beers just as there are Canadian beers and vice versa. Most of the mass produced beers from both countries, to me, are absolute garbage and you couldn't even pay me to drink them. If alcohol content is all you care about, drink whiskey and get over it.
