Canadian beer sucks more than (most) american beer

You are a total fvcking idiot and you have absolutely no fvcking clue what you're talking about.

I don't know why my fellow Canadians crow about 'our' beer so much.

Labatt is owned by Interbrew SA, a Belgian company.
Molson just entering into a merger of equals with Coors.

What exactly is ours, again?

EDIT: To fix HTTP link - FuseTalk is still broken.

I wonder what would happen to Canada if the US locked it's borders.

It would be mixed. Canada would hurt more than the US, but the US would be affected significantly as well. If the US did it to hurt Canada, Canada could turn off the taps(Oil and Natural Gas) and shutdown the Lines(electricity) and hurt the US een more.

Let's hope it doesn't happen. We'll both hurt.

Canadian dollar would worth 0.25-0.40 to the US dollar. However, the US would be hurting for oil/water/radium. It would take Canada sometime to get back on its feet, but we would eventually be a stronger nation than we are now because our commerce is more divert between many other nations.

There's simply zero way Canada could survive as a country without economic trade with the US, and our military protection. Delusional to say anything different if not downright insane!

Don't worry my friend. We're sending them a clone of the next Bryan Adams and Celine Dion (named Celyan Adion). Paybacks a bitch. MUAHAHAHAHHAHAHA!

Ya, there's a lineup just waiting to get even with Canada. Also, where would Canada get its' Oil, Electricity, Food, and other Commodities?

Canada would hurt for sure, but then again Canada has everything one could think of, except for Citrus fruit, but I'm sure that could be survived. Kid yourself not though, the US would have quite the economic shock as well. Canada is still the US's #1 Trading partner, a lot of that Trade involves Parts of Manufactured Goods produced within the US.

It would hurt the US a lot too, but most people don't realize anything like this would cause economic collapse.

I don't think 30 millions people would die if we don't trade with the US. Look at Vietnam (20 years embargo) & Iraq (10+ years embargo) that was bombed back to the pre industrial age ++ the trade embargo and the people still survive. And, the only nation that we worry about invasion is the US, because no one would invade such a rich/large country that sits between the US.

Agreed.

We're your largest exporter of oil. Think about how many countries you'd have to invade to make that up. O'course, you could just invade Alberta, but you'd have your hands full with those nuts.

Ok...this is starting to get retarded.

First, the brain-drain started. We began losing doctors, engineers, professors to the allure of higher wages in the United States. That I could deal with. They're just doctors, nobody likes 'em anyways.

Then, we started to lose our athletes. Wayne Gretzky(sp?), Patrick Roi and many, many others flocked to US Baseball, footbal and hockey teams for the higher wages. Not a problem, since they come home for the olympics and kick a$$ anyways 😛

But now...the sacrasanct has been violated. The last, great frontier has been breched.

No longer can Joe Canadian rant about how proud he is to be Canadian...because he's HALF FREAKIN' AMERICAN now! The doctors I can deal with, the athletes I can deal with...BUT NOT OUR BEER! What are Americans gonna do with canadian beer anyways? YOU CAN'T HANDLE THE BEER! Whenever I'm in the States, it costs me a fortune to get loaded, because I can down your "Beer" like water! Ask any Canadian, it's the same thing!

It's a disgrace, I tell you! What's next, selling off "The Pride of Nova Scotia"? The CN Tower? Shame on you Molson, for selling out a big piece of our identity as Canadians!

/me pops open a Moosehead...that last fully Canadian-owned brewery.

I LOVE MOOSEHeAD and MolSON IcE Canadian Lagers rule, better than pisswater that is made here

that's an American's opinion!!!

fine, but a Canadian disagrees with all of their heart!!!

🙂

Bud light and all that crap is just retarded.. so light it's pathetic... I really do prefer imported beers, but Canadian beer is far better than American beer.

You?re going to the wrong places to drink! I never really cared for beer much until I started drinking Micro Brewery Beer! My girlfriend?s family owns a brewery and their beer is awesome. The beers they make are all nice and high in alcohol content so you can get nice and trashed really quickly if your not careful.
