The desperate pair hatch an escape plan after Lindhout was driven to the desert alone one night and forced to beg for her life in the dirt.

They break through a bathroom window and jump 12 feet to the ground and run screaming into a local mosque for help.

There was no baby, the pregnancy was a false rumor by some blogger. They converted to Islam to make their lives a little less horrific at the hands of their captors. "constant abuse" != 24/7 gangbang. Yeah, they were dumb as shit and got themselves into the situation, but fucking-A people...
