Alright, I was sitting on the toilet, whatever whatever, as I stand up and am about to flush, I see like 20 small brown worms on the surface. I stare blankly for a few seconds like what the f... am I looking at, is this real? and eventually flush.

You better believe your ass I'm getting to a doctor tomorrow. Is this sorta thing normal?

Sorry to hear about the worms, but this was not a very appealing thread to read here. Looks like you have the situation under control, so this will be locked.

It could be pin worms. What did they look like?

PS - You're right, that's very bad :(

you're serious? Brown worms? Can't be a good thing. May not be life threatening, but obviously they shouldn't be there.

about maybe a cm to half an inch long, brown. one was swimming around in circles. I didn't stare in and inspect them carefully, but looked like light brown and maybe a shell of some sort.

[edit]hmmm, strange, the post below me was above this, and l2c's wasn't here when I replied[/edit]

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Maybe they were already there.

My Aunt once threw away a dead mouse in the toilet. My Uncle went in to do his business and afterwards looked in there. He almost fainted when he saw a dead rodent in there!

pinworms are usually white and VERY thin (look like threads).

May be hookworms?

That is pretty nasty, man... Just the thought of taking a sh!t and seeing macroscopic living creatures in there sends chills up my spine.

Hope you get it taken care of. Hehe, tell the Dr. you'd love to give him a stool sample.

I'd seriously call urgent care or something. I can't stand a werm to be on me, let alone a werm inside.

Good lord!

Round worms, tape worms, hook worms, thread worms and giardia ----these are common parasites found in human intestines. I don't think it's the Brown Stomach worms---looks like thay affect livestock, not humans

LOL... I don't think it's Brown Stomach Worms...

Definitive host spectrum
Ostertagia ostertagi - cattle (sheep, goats); note - this is the primary cattle parasite worldwide based on both pathogenic and economic effects
Ostertagia circumcincta - sheep, goats (cattle)
Ostertagia bisoni - American bison

Unless in fact you're a farm animal and haven't let us in on that yet.

I was thinking that for a sec, but what can be done now that would make a difference instead of 12 hrs from now? It's not as if I'm bleeding from both eyes (yet, hopefully won't). Sorry to any of those who said this thread is inappropriate, I freaked out. I left out any nasty graphic details.

Did I forget to mention....?

LOL, I guess I paniced. Alright, time for me to stop trying to diagnose myself.

tape worms are huge long things. These were pretty small.

Hate to get into detail about this, but maybe they were brown because they were crawling around in your sh!t? You sure about their color?

Well I'll try to diagnose you then. Have you had any other symptoms? Anemia? Fatigue? Any change in bowel habits? :)
