This is a great price for the notebook, the specs are top of the notch. Intel is clearing out Pentium M's so I wouldn't be surprised to see more of these discounts:

I really liked the notebook when I used it; extremely well built, good battery life. However I could not stand 1280x800 resolution, give me 1680x1050!

I think there is also a rebate on this product. Don't know if it applies since the laptop is in the outlet store though. Anyone know if this rebate will work or not? Its a 200 dollar rebate so it brings the price down to a cool $1000.

Nothing wrong per se, but 1280x800 widescreen is much like 1024x768 for a non-widescreen. People are used to higher resolutions these days.

uhmm, i hate to thread poop, but im not feeling the z listed above.

why not this

much better chip, marginally better vid car, better screen, hd needs to be replaced, but better overall imho. Also no tax for most ppl since newegg.

That one is nice.

Basically trading better screen and slightly better video for half the ram and slower HD.

Uhmm hd and ram are easy replace items. Processor, video, screen, not so much.
