I think there is also a rebate on this product. Don't know if it applies since the laptop is in the outlet store though. Anyone know if this rebate will work or not? Its a 200 dollar rebate so it brings the price down to a cool $1000.

I do agree on the screen though, only thing keeping me from giving up my T43 with 1400x1050 flexview screen.

Nothing wrong per se, but 1280x800 widescreen is much like 1024x768 for a non-widescreen. People are used to higher resolutions these days.

uhmm, i hate to thread poop, but im not feeling the z listed above.

why not this

much better chip, marginally better vid car, better screen, hd needs to be replaced, but better overall imho. Also no tax for most ppl since newegg.

Add a $100 lenovo MIR expiring 07/31/06 making it $100 cheaper

That one is nice.

Basically trading better screen and slightly better video for half the ram and slower HD.
