Hmm.. the styling seems fairly plain. I've been so out of touch with cars lately, I don't ever remember seeing one of these.

It is your prototypical Acura. It is as exciting as a roll of tinfoil.

Lol. I agree.

What are you guys talking about. Its just as exciting as an accord, because thats what it is.

So is a G35 as exciting as a Skyline too? :Q

The Subaru WRX STI is ugly, imho. Looks like an amazing performer, though. I think I'd need to like the styling of the car first..

How about the Legacy then? I guess the styling is plain-jane, but it's an improvement over the previous line, that's for sure.

I've never been in a Cooper, but they look rediculously ugly to me.

Some find it exciting, however I do not. The 350z looks infinitely more sexy. If you really need to see the epitome of Inifiniti, check out the QX56. Horrid horrid horrid horrid

TT....

why a mini....were they out of pink miatas?

A mini with the works is a pretty fast car... sure you can call it gay but it's probably faster than what you drive.

'05 subaru legact 2.5GT is faster than the TT (cept maybe for the 3.2 TT with the DSG gearbox. The Audi 3.2 TT and the VW R32 are esesntially the same cars).

Newest Car and driver rated the legacy 3rd and the TSX 1st, with the new volvo S40 T5 in 2nd, and the A4 1.8T in 4th.

While I have no exprience with Audi......I do have firsthand experience with a MINI's. I own an '04 Cooper S, my father owns an '04 Cooper Works (he's over six feet tall), and my mother owns an '04 base Cooper. So far I have racked up 22k+ on mine in under 10 months and I have absolutely no complaints as to interior comfort or driveabliity. The thing drives excellent in the winter (even with the sport tires) and is an absolute blast to drive.

As far as differences between the S and the Works: IMHO the Works isn't worth the extra 5k. You certainly gain about a half second 0-60 but you seem to lose some torque. Now....some of you may say 'so what....horsepower is where it's at' but I beg to differ. This car is a blast to drive because of the torque (about 150 lb/ft). It feels a whole lot faster than it really is. But you know what they say about opinions.......

Anyway...a MINI is what you make of it....My Chili-pepper Red w/black bonnet stripes and roof is a WHOLE lot more 'manly' than some of the other color combinations i've seen on other 'higher profile' cars but then we are back into opinions....

Bottom line...who gives a sh!t what other people think....buy what makes you feel good and have fun.

I don't get what you're saying. I was comparing a car to what it really was overseas. Curently, our G35 IS the skyline in Japan. Not the R32/R33/R34 thats always imagined when the name skyline is mentioned.

So, yes, our G35 is as exciting as a skyline. 😛

Ewh to the TT. That's a over-the-hill yuppie car for sure.

I think the TT looks sweet...especially in coupe form. The only reason I would not buy it is for reliability sake.

Well, the cars aren't really in the same league. The Mini costs $23k at most and the TT is at least $12k more expensive. For $23k you could consider the Subaru WRX also. A few mods and that is a very quick fun car. Or you could get the STi for $32k which is an absolute screamer and will smoke both cars. Many people who buy the STi take off the STi stickers and swap trunks with a regular WRX for a great sleeper.
