Thinking about taking up Pipe Smoking

Only fill it halfway for your first pipefull, and fill it in stages, tamping lightly between fills. You can check the pack by drawing on the pipe. It should never feel like it's difficult at all. You want a nice easy draw.

Yea, I'd store it stem up. They make nice inexpensive wooden holders you can keep it in. Maybe get one that holds a few pipes. You can smoke it more than once a day, but if you were a full time smoker, it's best to cycle through a few of them.

i'll have to take a peep next time i'm down at that smoke shop. they had a lot of great shit there and he helped me pick a good pipe out. he told me those $100 dollar ones are more of a fashion statement than a good smoke and right then I knew I wanted to support his little shop. I will probably store it with my shot glasses and stuff in the cabinet.....

It was actually really relaxing. I just sat in my comp chair and puffed it for like 20 minutes. I had problems packing and lighting it at first, but after I got it to light it was nice....and my room just smells like incense now.
