Maybe you should make sure you're actually going to receive ECT before you go making any big plans.
Like, do you think you're just going to walk in and say "I'm ready to be admitted for my ECT now." and they'll say "Sure thing, let's get you signed in!"?
It's weirding me out that ECT is an option that's not part of a closely monitored pathway that's been discussed by multiple mental and general health teams with support structures set up to deal with home problems.
I'm also not sure if this is a US problem or a Gizmo thing!

I would just pay the boarding fee for the cat, depending how long you're there we're looking at like $300ish once you factor taxes etc. Not that terrible. The next time you think of spending money on some useless thing, then just don't do it in order to make up for that cost.

In fact some of the useless stuff you've bought in the past few weeks might still be illegible for return.

My old roommate's sister said she'll care for my cat for $30 a week, she has a cat too, I think I'll wait for when I get my next Amazon Visa check so I don't miss a payment if I'm there for longer than a week. The check comes in the beginning of the month.

Eh? You owe them money. All you are going to get from them is a bill.

You can schedule a payment to occur in the future. You can even schedule an auto-pay to happen every month.

If you miss a payment you have to pay interest.

I'm currently not paying interest because I haven't missed any payments.
Fair play, you're doing well! It is tricky keeping up with payments if you're not used to that. My bank makes it easy in that it take a couple of clicks in my mobile banking apps to make a payment plus I've got minimum payments set up to automagically pay each month. Without those I'm pretty sure I'd miss some.

I took my cat back to the pound today, they said they'll put him back up for adoption but if I come back and no one else adopts him I can "re adobt" him again for $55.

I tried admitting myself to the hospital afterwards and they said they put me on the waiting list for ECT and the head doctor wanted to talk to my psychiatrist on Monday.

The head doctor said I might get the ECT in about a week.

Since my late teens I have had this serious problem where I feel like bugs are crawling on me even though there isn't.
Are you sure that your kidneys and liver are fine? Things crawling on the skin or trying to come through the pores of the skin are symptoms of liver and kidney disease.

That's not advice. Simply asking if he has ever gotten tested for those.

Nonsense? Telling someone who lives with kidney disease?
I have stage 2 kidney disease. There are no bugs crawling on me, nothing coming out of my skin. Just stop.
He has been examined by doctors.

It happens when the phosphorous levels rise too high and phosphorous has a tendency to escape through the skin. I pray you never have to go through that because when that happens, you COMPLETELY lose sleep.

Thanks Doc. I actually take Phospha 250 Neutral, A prescription Phosphorus supplement, because of my kidneys.
Please tell me more...

It's weirding me out that in a thread where a person who is posting about seeing doctors for years before one finally said told that perhaps ECT should be looked into. You have the takeaway that one day Gizmo woke up and just decided out of the blue to prescribe ECT for himself without ever having seen a doctor

Do the entire pet community a big favor…DO NOT EVER ADOPT ANOTHER ANIMAL.

Thanks Doc. Actually, it means I'm Phosphorus deficient. Duh. I also have to take Klor-Con 20 mEq, 4 per day.
That's weird though. Both potassium and phosphorus levels increase in CKD, not go down. Maybe you are taking something else (diuretic) that is lowering their levels.
