When it comes to treatments for mental health, the rest of the world has be like, "Americans do WHAT?"America is a silly place!
He did say you have to be admitted, hence taking the kitten back to the pound temporarily (which itself is kind of... what?), and from my experience with the US medical system I'm pretty sure this is the kind of thing that would generally be scheduled in advance. But I'm excited to see what the next chapter brings, who knows, maybe tomorrow he'll come back with the notion to be a great luchador.I didn't know ECT is just a walk-in.
Sagneto? Sounds like a character in an over-60 adult film. You wait till after when he has the combined powers of Magneto and Storm!
Way too committed to the role for it to be an act in my opinion! The accusation of being a troll acct has been around a long time. I've never been sure, cause the last few years have opened my eyes to what the world's really like, but the exercise video might have been a bit too much. I'm starting to think it's a character.
I just don't know anymore. Feels like the whole world went to crazy town. People say stuff, and I think "Are you fucking with me?!"Way too committed to the role for it to bale and act in my opinion!
That is a good fucking point tbh.I just don't know anymore. Feels like the whole world went to crazy town. People say stuff, and I think "Are you fucking with me?!"
Narrator:
He was not being fucked with.

I can't think of any reason why they wouldn't let you take that in!I really hope they'll let me bring this integrated circuits book in the hospital.

I've worked in hospitals for about 30 years and I have never heard of anyone stopping someone bringing a book in! It's a good place to catch up on your reading! They once let me bring 'The Hobbit' book when I was in a hospital, but I thought the book was boring. XD
It's drier than your worst nightmare. Worse than getting stranded in the Sahara desert. Better take some pills too for when you get a headache from reading the first page of the first chapter.I really hope they'll let me bring this integrated circuits book in the hospital.

He's trying to tell us that fantasy fiction books are below his genius level intellect. They once let me bring 'The Hobbit' book when I was in a hospital, but I thought the book was boring. XD
Any idea what a person after ECT behaves like? Asking for our dear friend Gizmo.I've worked in hospitals for about 30 years and I have never heard of anyone stopping someone bringing a book in! It's a good place to catch up on your reading!
I am sure their pillow is better than yours.I really hope they'll let me bring this integrated circuits book in the hospital.

I probably already mentioned it earlier in the thread, but I know someone who underwent it for severe long-term depression, and while the periods around the ECT sessions were certainly unpleasant, it made a huge difference for her after she'd completed them.Any idea what a person after ECT behaves like? Asking for our dear friend Gizmo.
Ah great. So it's not questionable psychiatric science like lobotomy etc.it made a huge difference for her after she'd completed them.
I work in a general hospital we don't do any MH stuff here, and certainly not something as uncommon as ECT!Any idea what a person after ECT behaves like? Asking for our dear friend Gizmo.
It's one of those weird treatments that definitely works but we don't know why it works!Ah great. So it's not questionable psychiatric science like lobotomy etc.
You can't get your uncle to look after the cat for a week?I called the pound and they said the person who told me they can temporarily hold my cat was "mistaken" and that I can't get the cat back after I return him.
They told me to look for a "cat boarding" company and the cheapest I can find is $35 a day.
I think I'll wait until I get my SSI on the 1st, I'm also going to try to donate plasma more often.
They were probably trying to rescue the cat from the sort of person who thinks they can just drop it back off at the pound temporarily whenever it's convenient.I called the pound and they said the person who told me they can temporarily hold my cat was "mistaken" and that I can't get the cat back after I return him.
Maybe you should make sure you're actually going to receive ECT before you go making any big plans. They told me to look for a "cat boarding" company and the cheapest I can find is $35 a day.
I think I'll wait until I get my SSI on the 1st, I'm also going to try to donate plasma more often.
My uncle doesn't like cats, when he helped me put together my pull up rack he told me to lock him up in my room. You can't get your uncle to look after the cat for a week?
