These threads make me realize how stupid people are. Not for buying the Ipod Mini, but people thinking that everyon cares about having 40 GB of songs. I have 3GB and there is too much crap I dont like on it. Why would I, or half of the people who buy them, want massive storage space when we dont use it?

How long does it take you to listen to 40/20/15GB of music? How long does it take to listen to 4GB? I'd rather have 4GB of good music than 40GB of mediocre crap.

How many people even have more than 4GB of songs? Even then if you have 8GB of music, isn't the ability to carry half of them enough for choice? I'll bet that there at least a couple out of 1000 songs that you might feel like listening to at any given time you want to listen to music.
I have all my cd's ripped to my ipod. I love every single one of my cd's (I don't buy anything I don't like) they all take about 7 gigs ripped at 192. I leave it on random and let it play through which is the best way. If you have 3 gigs of crap, get some better music. I have 7 gigs of good music, so I use it and listen.
