For good food, you might want to try out Lolita on the west side. It's owned by some famous chef, and I've eaten there a few times; really good. Very expensive though.

The art museum just finished a huge renovation and has some interesting things, like a wall with all the art works (like a giant tablet) that you can interact with. There are a ton of museums around this area if art doesn't do it for you (auto, botanical, etc).

Then there's the casino if you are into gambling, and for different dining, the flats (east and west bank) have some good restaurants and bars.

Then the obvious Rock and Roll hall of fame, and the science center next door. If you have kids, they will probably love the science center.

As Russian comedian Yakov Smirinoff has said ...

"... after I escaped Russia I found myself in Cleveland and they made me feel right at home ... I had to escape again..."

My wifes family is from Cleveland so we head their every couple of years around this time.
Two of my favorite places to hit up are the West Side Market and while we are on that side of town I stop in at a small authentic Italian store called Gallucci's.
Tower City is kind of cool to see. It's a shopping mall now but at one time it was a train station so the architecture is really neat.

Make a video of how shitty the browns are, in front of their stadium.

Check out Now That's Class for local punk and metal.. plus they have skate ramps on the gig side..

The Melt sucks. Trust me. It's way over-rated and full of trendy hipsters..

Knuckleheads on the corner of BrookPark n Broadview has great wings. 10 cents on Sundays last i remember..

Lola in Tremont is a great restaurant.

Slyman's Cornbeef sandwiches.

Restaurants:
Go to Greenhouse Tavern and order the pig's head. No, really.
Momocho is also very good, and not your typical mexican restaurant.
Melt has great sandwiches.

Other random stuff:
Go see a play - Playhouse Square is the largest performing arts district in the US outside of New York.
Good basketball for cheap - Cleveland State almost knocked off Kentucky over the weekend. Campus is right downtown next to Playhouse Square.

Momocho and the theater sound awesome.

Thanks!

There is a MC in Cleveland? Ohhhhhhh yeeeeeeea!

i love that place. whenever i build a new comp i drive up there for the CPU/mobo, because their combo deals have yet to be beaten by anywhere on the internet.

its not around downtown, but not too far away out on the east side on 271

It's a few mins from our office in Solon, my wife hates it when I go to Solon. :awe:

The Christmas Story house is pretty cool too.
