Meh, I buy everything new. I hate not knowing what a previous owner may have done or not done to something. What if that used dining table got barfed on two weeks before and never fully cleaned up? What if that used car has hidden flood damage or odometer rollbacks? I don't mind paying new prices because the peace of mind is worth more to me than saving some dollars.

Baseball gloves should be new. They shape & wear in differently for each user. Size & composition range from the position, to the player's preferences. A glove that is worn in & oiled properly becomes almost an extention of your hand. A glove that isn't worn in properly, will fold in all the wrong places & basically become useless to play with. Buying a used one will most likely fit awkwardly, & will never affirm to your hand properly.

Pets on the other hand, are great used.
