HAH! I thought I was the only one...and my bf and mom both think I'm crazy for buying new books.

I like my books new, with the new book smell, with no creases and marks. I hate getting books from the library or used cause most of the time they smell musty and have food and drink stains all over. Some people just don't take care of their books! I've even gone as far as wrapping paperback books (like you'd wrap your text books at school) to keep from accidentally staining them or getting too many fingerprints on it.

but yea..i'm glad i'm not the only "weirdo" out there. heh.

lol is this a joke? i'd never buy the things you mentioned if they were USED... a big metal wrench is one exception.
