Things people like that annoys you when they discuss it

"I pay off all my credit card balances every month" people... I mean, good for you, but why the fuck do you have to mention it all the time?

because some people are responsible with their money and those who aren't are partly the reason why we're in an economic clusterfuck?

edit: and for my own response, i HATE it when people discuss/obsess about statistics in baseball. it's some of the most annoying shit ever. why do people bat a 333? why not just say 33%, or 50%? it's easier!

you know it's not a real sport when you can play 160 games in a regular season, and 50% of the physical effort rests on 1 group of people (pitchers)

Entertainment like Jennifer Aniston and her whatever bullshit, or talking about how Ms. Jolie is with Brad Pitt and blah-blah-blah... Seriously, it makes me want to go Hannibal Lecter on their asses.

Not sure what else, but I know at least that.

It's got a cop motor, a 440-cubic-inch plant. It's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters, so it'll run good on regular gas. What do you say? Is it the new Bluesmobile or what? "Fix the cigarette lighter"

It's a 106 miles to Chicago. We got a full tank of gas, half a pack of cigarettes, it's dark and we're wearing sunglasses.

Pretty much all TV and most sports. And this is a universal problem I think. You dont have to be any one type of person or in any particular region to encounter the problem of way too much TV discussion or sports discussion.
Celebrity gossip would bother me except I dont hear it very much, so its not an irritating thing.

For folks who hear about guns and NASCAR way too often in daily conversation: I recommend leaving bumfuck Alabama.

Any discussion that has to do with cell phones. Coverage, plans, features, rates, you dropped it in the toilet & they won't give you a free replacement, etc.

I don't give a shit.

Office politics and gossip. For example, I told one person I was having jaw surgery to treat TMD. Later people started asking me if I'm going to have plastic surgery. Another time I was having a three-way Skype chat and I signed off early. The next time I sign on Skype it automatically sends me the rest of the conversation and most of it was about me (some of it not so flattering).

I like to think I'm a calm and reasonable guy - I try to focus on my work and not draw attention to myself at work. It's just the BS that makes working less pleasant than it should be.

Agreed. I have a friend on Facebook I've known since high school who recently 'discovered god' and he's always quoting scripture on there now. I had to hide him because I just couldn't stand reading that nonsense all the time.

You found god, that's great. Keep it to yourself please.

Meh, I think it's more fun to screw with those types of people. I had someone who made me want to gag. Constantly "I have such a wonderful life and a wonderful husband" intermingled with tons of scripture. One day, "Jesus has great plans for me" was followed several hours later with "I'm so mad, I got a flat tire." After which, I blamed Jesus for her flat tire.

All summer the guys at work talk about mowing their lawns.
"I need to mow the lawn after work... i mowed the lawn yesterday after work... i wish it would stop raining 'cus my lawn needs mowed..." On & on & on 🙁
