Things people like that annoys you when they discuss it

I have to listen to what "Beck and Rush" had to say the day before every morning when I walk in to work, as there are 3 fat white neo-nazi's who sit in the row of cubes behind me. Also I like hearing the President being called the N word and how they can't wait for all the "other N's" to rise up and enslave the whites.

Sometimes I feel like I work in a republican-party think tank. Or at Fox News.

I hate idiots like this that are full of shit.

So what does that say about your job if you are on the same level as "three fat white neo-nazis"?

There's a guy I work with that always starts talking about the most random shit ever and it's always when a group convo is happening.

I was just having this discussion with my co-worker earlier. My biggest annoyance is people who discuss sports and teams in general as possessions. We got so-and-so, we won the game, we beat your team, etc. No you didn't, you did nothing but fucking watch.

Everywhere that I have worked there is always a guy straight out of "Dilbert". You know who he is: Topper.

The group will be discussing any subject and Topper will chime in with something that makes him better, smarter, faster, richer or more virile than everyone else.

I used to work at a warehouse and the political discussions were pretty annoying. The delivery drivers are usually wacko conservatives because they are in the car all day listening to talk radio. A fellow warehouse employee was quite liberal, so there would be arguments all day between him and the drivers (all friendly though). I used to try to ignore all of them, but then I decided to have a little fun with them. I'm liberal, but of the more pragmatic type, so I would play devil's advocate towards all of them. It was fun to get them going. I follow politics a lot so I know what buttons to press.

...and he makes Sarah Palin look like she's mentally challenged.

My cats make Palin look mentally challenged. She's qualified to be a waitress at Waffle House. It's only pure luck that she found her way into a *real job.

*As real as politics is anyway :^/

I hate it when I am unable to feign interest in some universally loved music artist/movie/tv show (think Kanye West/2012/some bullshit faux-reality-talent show) and people think I'm trying too hard to be an elitist. Fuck, I have a pretty mainstream taste in all things and am not your average "I only watch arthouse European films with subtitles' film buff - but that's what some people think I am. So yes, I hate it when people spend an hour chronicling the events of Saw 1-6.

I'm like that also. It doesn't annoy me, but people talk about TV, or other things happening in pop culture, and I give them a blank look :^D

I don't watch TV, I don't listen to music radio, and I don't watch sports. If you want to talk about something interesting though, I'm all ears :^)

:^D

I've seen that before. Do you think that's real? I mean REALLY? There's some dim bulbs out there, but c'mon... That's GOTTA be a put on :^D

It would not surprise me one bit if it were real. I've overheard some things in our internet cafe that were actually worse than that! 😱

But seriously ya gotta ask yurself... "WHAT is oozing out of are ground? Seriously, what? It's all blue... and yellow... and and and red."

I went to the University of Arkansas and have paid to go to countless Razorback games. I can absolutely be possessive when it comes to the Hogs.

Same with the Red Sox. I am a HUGE Red Sox fan. Have been for 25 of my 35 years. I've supported the team not only with (way too) much of my time, but financially as well. Tons of games, money donated to the Jimmy Fund, and tons of officially licensed apparel, posters, cards, figures, etc.

I actually agree with you for those 'fans' who half-ass watch. But for the real fans who take their teams serious (a little too serious, perhaps?), and support them financially, they have every right to be possessive.

Without paying fans, there is no Razorback sports teams or Red Sox baseball. The fans own them as much as anyone.

When I'm eating a chili cheese burger and an order of chili cheese fries and the VW bus driving hippies want to sit around and strike up a discussion on how what I'm eating is so bad for me. Then after all have discussed it amongst themselves, they start on me about it. My diet sucks but I'm not retarded, I understand Chili Cheese Fries are one of the worst things I could put in my body. You're not saying something that's going to make me say "woah really!" *throws fast food in the trash*

Also hate whities who whine endlessly about Affirmative Action, when they themselves have no doubt gotten plenty of jobs simply because they were white. And not based off of something important like skill or education. Gee, cry me a river...
