Things I hate about computer users....

This happened to a co-worker, he was called out to a client's home several years ago when a 33.6 modem was the best you could get. The client's computer was next to their pet parrot's bird cage. Whenever my co-worker turned on the computer, the parrot would do a perfect modem "handshake".

Did you just copy and paste that from the tech support link that was just posted? 😕

what i always hated when i worked in a computer store was people bringing in their computer and asking for more "memory". the next task was always figuring out if the actually wanted more memroy, or a bigger hard drive. the whole calling your tower a modem or hard drive thing really pissed me off too. i must say however the funniest thing i saw was a lady who didnt understand why her floppy drive wouldnt read the disk she put it. turned out the disk was one of those mini cds. 🙂

another good story, guy comes in and tells us he needs his computer fixed. we tell him how much it costs and he is a bit stunned, saying well im only bringing it in becuase i dont have time to fix it. i reply, well thats why you are paying us, because we have time and you dont. he continues to rant that he doesnt want to pay that much because he could fix it if he had the time. all in all, his reasoning was very circular and quite halarious. my friend in the back ended up fixing it while we argued and we kept the system for a week and charged him the full amount just because he pissed me off.
