To accomplish what? Answer: Killing.

A tool used for killing is a weapon. Idiot.

Edit: http://wordnetweb.princeton.edu/perl/webwn?s=gun

Error 404 "tool" not found. Weapon found

By definition a TOOL is something used to help accomplish a task. Guns are tools, their task is shooting shit. Killing is just a byproduct of shooting things.

btw your posting of shit saying "OMG TAKE GUNS AWAY" you realize some places here do that right? Look at Chicago, they have a handgun ban, but ZOMG homicide shot up huge after it. Take guns away, crime goes up... If you stop for a second to think like a criminal, it makes perfect sense. To bad you're an idiot and incapable of thought, let alone thinking like someone else.

Yeah you're right, guns are tools used to accomplish all sorts...(can't think of any examples except killing) Except by definition where guns are weapons.

Yep. But gun deaths went down a fuck load.

What the fuck does that matter? Oh you stopped 5 gun murders, but got 8 knife murders instead. It's ok though because guns weren't used.... Fuck you're a moron and I'm going to make sure I point it out at every chance I get.

If you look at the statistics, deaths rose over the time, but it had no correlation to banning guns. it would have happened anyway.

You still have some 12k gun offenses in the UK. Also those figures for gun deaths in the US include suicides (makes up over half), police shootings, and other non murder related offenses.

Weapons are tools... I already broke it down for you. Seriously how hard is it for you to understand? You don't get to decide what a tool is or not, we as humans decided that a LONG time ago. A tool is anything we use to accomplish a task. A car is a tool for personal travel for instance. Guns are tools.

Seeing as I'm speaking to a tool, you think they'd know their own.... moron.

so lets ban all archery related items too then right? i mean they're tools used for killing only right? oh wait they're ALSO used for sport... hrm... wait a tick, could perhaps guns be used for sport also?

You're more than twice as likely to kill yourself in the United States than you are to be the victim of a homicide. Anyone who has an irrational fear of someone killing them, is just that, irrational.

So banning guns effectively did nothing.... Thanks for making our point.

Good call, ban them.

Do you feel better when someone is killed with a knife or is strangled? If someone broke in to my home, and I felt threatened so I stabbed him in the face and he died, is that somehow different in your mind?

And before you get too caught up in the numbers, be sure you look at gun deaths that are crimes, regarding the US numbers. Many leftist sites like to group lawful defence use of guns and suicides in to the total to make the situation look much worse than it is (I remember suicides being more than 40% of all US gun deaths not too long ago).

It is kind of ironic how anti-gun he is, yet goes out shooting fairly often and was even on a team. Which according to everything he says here is not a valid use for a gun.

Also how all this anti-force talk, when he got in a bar fight and hit the guy with a beer bottle. Sorry, but you can fairly easily kill someone with a beer bottle, especially once it breaks.

I shot on a team, where the gun was kept in a locker at the range, never took it home, never needed to.

wasn't my point, earlier you argued the use of them as sport was not a use for them. Yet you've used them for that purpose.

Yep. But gun deaths went down a fuck load.

So homicide increasing is ok, just as long as gun deaths went down? I think it makes sense now, your problem is not with murder, but rather with the manner in which it was performed. That makes you a murder elitist at best, a murder racist at worse! 🙄
