I have the Abit KT7A-RAID MB.Originally posted by: m1ke101looks like it would be a great choice, sk-7 is a pretty damn good cooler.Originally posted by: rockyct Don't laugh but would the SK-7 be a good choice with a Panaflo fan for an 1200 Tbird?

Don't waste your money on a sk7...just get a sk6+, I mean if it can cool my overclocked 1700+ to 2.4ghz, I don't see any problems cooling any other kind of amd cpu.

For quiet 80mm fans, everyone loves the Panaflo L1A's. NMB fans are great also. Vantec stealth fans are a good second choice. They come in 80mm and 60mm for CPU heatsinks.Originally posted by: ezland00

Compare the price after shipping for both of them.
SK-7 is bigger than SK-6+. More copper area - better heatsink.
I think with the discount code SK-7 is a better bet because SK-7 can be compared to other $40 heatsinks.
Funny, the discounted SK-7 from SVC isn't as cheap as the SK-7 from the above site if you include the shipping. It's buck and change cheaper above. I'm debating...I need cheap (and I mean cheap) coolers. hmmmmm
$1.99 cooler. super cheap
$4.99 cooler. little bit better, no complaints
$7.99 cooler. quality goods, you can even OC a little with this guy
these include the fans too. if you just want super cheap, take the first. if you want something with a little more quality, take the second. if you are looking for bang for the buck, the last packs a wallup for $8.
