And only dead people can see dead people.....
If you do rent something and do find a body, you're going to have to pay for it to be exhumed from its current place and moved to a proper burial. Doubtful that insurance or the state will pay for that. I'd guess that since its below concrete, its a $50K job at least all in (survey, exhume, burial, etc.).
EDIT: PLUS you'll have to disclose in any future house sale that you had found a dead body on the grounds, lowering the value of the house. Just sell the place before you find it.
EDIT: and you better hope to hell that it isn't a Native American.
Maybe its a female ghost, you can potentially cheat on your wife and no one would know!

They'd bang your brains out.Still undecided about zombies...
how the hell did you "bump into a former owner of the house" at the supermarket, one that owned it 30 years ago?
were they holding a big sign saying "I OWNED THE HOUSE AT 444 STUPID STREET 30 YEARS AGO"??

The town has about 350 houses in it. When someone new moves into town it's kind of a big deal. The former owner was a town cop who's since retired and become the town constable. She sought us when we moved in, just to see if we were going to turn the greater compound into another failed non-profit (previously convent then music academy) . We had no intention of some tax-dodging scheme and told her we were just family and wanted to keep horses.
I can say the former owners name in town and describe where I live, e.g. Sally McDoe's old house; or the old convent. That's more recognizable than a street address.
