There is no longer any doubt, I'm a Geek.

Stephen Hawking's Universe

I think I need to buy some novels or something.

It doesn't matter Russ. If you bought novels, it probably would have been Tolkien, Herbert, or some sci-fi. You still would have been labeled a geek.

I'd have to say that the majority of the people here would fit that description. This is one of the few places where it doesn't matter. 😛

Adul - I remember Russ' first posts on the subject of Linux. He questioned the reason for it even existing and couldn't understand why you wouldn't just use Windows. Now look what has happened to him <grin>.

I passed on this suggestion to him. Bookpool.com has the best prices I know of for computer books.

<< He questioned the reason for it even existing >>

I now fully understand the reason for it's existence; to torture me.😀

You want geekdom? Someone at my company has the FreeBSD devil tattooed behind his ear.

I'm actually trying to find a decent image of the NASA logo to take to a tattoo artist to render into something that he can put onto my ankle. (Yes, I've already decided to do it, I'm just looking for a good image. The ones on the NASA site are either too small or they're animated so they're hard to print, or both.)

And I thought my roomate was a geek for wanting to get the Boba Fett symbol tattoo.

Although, it does seem like a cool idea.

hmm a bsd deamon. .. thats an idea.. .

Of course, a real geek, when he has a date go bad, instead of going on a bender, spends the night installing multiple os's on a 5 partition 20 gb hard drive, thats what I did.
